Didn't Eric Bischoff say TNA was going to be bigger than AEW in a year? When has he ever been wrong about something?

Speaking of AEW the network should just make dynamite officially 2.5 hours long, they haven't been done on time in weeks.

They occasionally find a diamond in the rough, Y'know, blind squirrel finds a nut, but even they know the Good Talent is too good for them and don't try and chase them if/when they leave

At this point I'm just waiting to see what the Black Magic pulls to keep this company afloat more than anything.

Jindrak and O'Haire were fucking awesome back in the day. A lot of those WCW guys got the shit end of the stick because of HHH. Some though, did deserve it for being complacent and not adapting (Buff Bagwell for example). On the subject of Ric Flair, ever since I started watching wrestling I could never take the guy seriously. I mean congrats, you can party all night and win push up competitions, but he and Arn Anderson and the rest of the Horsemen looked 50 when they were in their late twenties. Bret Hart was right about Flair, you watch one of his matches, you have watched them all. He consistently also had one of the most terrible physiques in the history of pro wrestling. Guy was always flabby as fuck. I am supposed to take this guy seriously against a giant like Bruiser Brody or a muscle bound freak like Lex Luger?

Triple H was never a draw, and Ric Flair spent more of his career being a drunken coked out fool than a legend. I remember a match with evolution vs who gives a fuck, and Ric did that ridiculous spot where he does the delayed fall but he waited 30 seconds to fall, just trying to make his friends laugh I guess.
Batista was great and Randy was alright but pushed too hard because of Hep C daddy's nepotism.

I know Orton is looked at as an all time great, and I happen to like his work, but people forget he absolutely sucked at the beginning of his career, even in the early days of Evolution. I remember him botching moves pretty much every Monday Night Raw back then. He was being pushed similarly to how Reigns was being pushed about ten years ago. Orton entered his peak during his Viper gimmick around 09 when he started using the punt kick.

I always thought Triple H and Mean Mark Callous needed to be reminded from time to time that wrestling is ultimately scripted. I think Triple H legit believed he 'won' those championships, and Mean Mark really believed he was the toughest SOB and the greatest pure striker in WWE history.

Orton always bored me. He was always just... there. Looked great, was solid in the ring after a few years, but I was just never a big fan. I get why Vince liked and pushed him but he just never did it for me.

Taker LARPing as a bad ass is hilarious. Brian Pillman hated Undertaker because of him being a fraud and thinking he was all bad ass. Taker has even said shit like that he would've gone into the UFC if it paid better in his younger days. Yeah, LARPing as an undead wizard is a great base for MMA and will help you against people who have been wrestling their whole life

I mean, I agree, but also consider that his entire career was after his back was broken in a plane crash. Hell, just for reference, behold - Flair pre plane crash, 1975

Guy went from living and training with Ken Patera to the Nature Boy we all know. Its also why he never took a flat back bump, I don’t think his body could actually handle it. Why he stayed in Wrestling if his back was that fucked is anyones guess, I think it just has something to do with Wrestlers being about 2 Steps from all being Lolcows…

The only thing that offended me about Orton was because of his name and his Hep C daddy, they put the title on him at 24. Youngest champion of all time should be reserved for someone with massive talent, not nepotism.

It is likely to be his last match as a full-time wrestler, for sure.

He hasn’t really been the same since his diverticulitis, and he doesn’t want to be remembered as being less than he was in his prime, so I’m guessing Wembley is his swan song.
