Remember when promoters convinced us that wrestlers were dangerous carnie types (because they actually were) who would unsettle even grown adults with their gimmicks? Now we have "wrestlers" (also a failed MMA fighter and comic book writer) oversharing about their dead pooches on social media.

But if that worst case scenario does happen, AEW does do well enough in the ratings for some other network to give them a deal, albeit at a much lower rate.

He could probably scale it down to a 90s ECW or current year ROH or TNA size production, make half what he puts into back through ads, tickets, merch and PPVs and keep going for the rest of his life without running out of money. If Tony's dad dies and leaves him one quarter of his fortune, Tony can spend $100-million a year and not run out of money until he's 80, and that's assuming none of it is invested in the market or accumulating interest. AEW is going to go for as long as Tony wants it to.
