Games you think have perfect soundtracks. - Post 'em, boys and girls.

Not gonna link it here because between all the radio stations and the Original Score, really love everything Cyberpunk 2077 has going on.

In terms of what I will post because its a bit easier, probably my favorite Sound Track of all time: Persona 5: Royal.

Persona 5 on its own just drips style, but the sound track really hits the nail on the head for me. The entire thing is such a fucking vibe and the game makes me feel nostalgic for a time in my life that never existed, which is a feeling I deeply appreciate.

Persona 5 is the most disappointing, boring and mundane of all five of the soundtracks.

The Persona soundtracks have been getting progressively worse since the GOAT.

Hard Truck 2. Maybe it hits different because I played it most evenings after school as a kid but its still in my playlists.
Haven't listened to anything else by the band, mainly because i don't know Russian.
Apologies if this double posts i've had to fight kiwiflare.

I listened to this all the way through every time I started the game, and that ended up being almost three hours worth of time because the cocksucker crashed 86 times before I 100% it.

Every Persona game has great music. P5 Strikers/Scramble is the best though for giving the option to pick the battle music. Also, for this track:

I feel like TLOU2 bred so much ill will its tainting memory of the original now, but TLOU had an amazing background soundtrack, especially because of how well it fit in without standing out. The very first thing that drew me to it, back when they were advertising it and I was in high school, was the beautiful green overgrown cities, an aesthetic I've always loved but that few games played with. (It was the era of brown and grit.) A feeling to the world that's like frontier/Western (the horse scene, the Hank Williams scene in the truck, Joel being Texan) set amidst the decay of the modern American city.

And then the brooding acoustic country soundtrack matches it perfectly.

I was reminded of it recently by the Flame in the Flood, which goes for a similar thing.

Walking Dead did it too, but TLOU did it better.

Most Wanted 2005 is damn good and I'm surprised nobody dropped it here. It's a good mix of rock, metal, hip hop and whatever else was cool at the time. I'm glad I was too young to reach the pedals at the time because I would have sped off with my parents shitbox Toyota listening to this any day.

It had some good original dynamic tracks for police chases too. The music would change depending on what's happening:

Think whatever you want about the game itself, the soundtrack is absolutely fantastic and I'll not entertain any pushback
