People really need to stop visiting the websites that are downplaying shit or defending the crap journalism and cronyism that goes on. We aren't going to get rid of people like Anita or Zoe and the rainbow hair fag brigade. "Gaming" is now part of nerd chic homo culture and you can't change that. Just stop giving them clicks and ad money. Remind them that we do not approve of their shenanigans, but don't give them the attention they crave. People like Quinn and Fish love the attention, and a lot of the others are smug pricks who like to argue on the internet and have their followers e-beat up people.

With that said, can we a running list of sites to never use or visit from those who have kept up?
 
It says so much about Zoe that despite knowing so many people are watching her twitter she still believes that deleting her doxing of a trans kid and then pretending it didn't happen is a valid response. I guess when someone manipulates their way through life they are incapable of grasping how sometimes admitting you're at fault for something can humanize you and shows some kind of decent moral compass.

But nah, delete that shit when you already know people have bots that relay your tweets instantly and live eyes are constantly checking it.

I'm surprised transwoman indie developer Anna Anthropy (Mighty Jill Off) isn't listed, since she seems to be the ideal candidate for the Quinn/SJW camp. If she's actually not taking sides, props to her.

I am a bit saddened that Notch (Minecraft) has fallen to such treachery, though...and as for Dobson, I don't think he's directly involved in Gamergate so he shouldn't be listed. If anything, this is showing him the light on SJWs and can now move away from that (but he's still an asshat)

You're right, he doesn't have any influence in the matter and is simply tarding off on both sides to get attention. I removed him from the list.

You know, it's funny, I saw an old review of Dragon Warrior VII from 13 years ago and three staff members from a site called RPGamers.com worked on the translation for the game into English. The site acknowledged that fact and included it in the review. The reason I bring this up is that in the one paragraph at the bottom of an ancient review from the Web 1.0 era, I saw more accountability than I've seen in any of the sites trying to downplay the Zoe Quinn scandal.

Egoraptor has always been a self-righteous dick. He used to be a funny self-righteous dick though which is why he got internet famous. He's had no problems in the past censoring shit he didn't like but it wasn't until Jon left Game Grumps we actually saw it. It's been hinted that Suzy has quite a bit of influence on him but honestly I don't think he'd need much of a push toward one side to make fun of it. I imagine if this happened back when he was single and didn't have as much of a brand to protect he'd be making crass Zoe jokes just because it'd be easier to do.

I think the most telling aspect when it comes to Arin is his username is Egoraptor.
 
Arin's been wrong about a lot of shit. I still like the guy. Also, I think he does actually have some good things to say about women in gaming. He's said before that he thinks the best way to be inclusive is just to write more stories with female main characters. I'm not gonna defend the guy for what he did, cuz Zoe doesn't deserve any support, but I'm not gonna demonize him just for being a dumbfuck once in a while.

I mean the dude clearly doesn't support a lot of the things SJW's do (something he showed while he was yelling misogyny while playing Sakura Spirit) I just think he made an extremely poor judgement here (what did he even do?)
