Cersei has every right to be driven mad by the sound of bells during her defeat given her walk of SHAME, doesn't.

The bells were amazing. Clegane bowl was re.tarded.

Arya basically represents the audience for Game of Thrones, wanting to leave.
 
I keep seeing posts saying that D&D butchered 'Dany' this season when since like...season 2 she's just been terrible and a pouty, bratty bitch throughout?

I never understood why people see her as a STRONG WYMN when all she has ever done is not listen to her advisors and kills anyone who doesn't wank all over her.

Edit: Not saying this is not out of character because it is (despite build up) but it's still dumb how people think she is this pure good character when she's really not. I've also never read the books so basing this off the tv show.

Pure symbolism - potentially for Arya killing Dany. ...Or they just really liked Gandalf's horse scenes and needed her to do something "cool".
 
How did the bells even drive her bonkers? The way the scene is shot, she just looks confused and hesitant before the dragon takes off to burn shit.
 
My favorite part was the "Previously On" where they dredged up dialogue from all 7 seasons so they could pretend they actually built up to this mess.
 
my deep lore is that khal drogo had syphilis and after this decade of her trudging through essos and finally getting here it all caught up to her and this is the neurosyphilis finally taking sweet victory
 
I thought she was burning shit because she decided that it was better to be feared than loved in the previous scene.

Also the Hound killed his brother in the same way people clear the undead asylum in Dark Souls.

That scene with Cersei's bloodied hand made me think D&D tried writing Macbeth but ended up doing A Comedy of Errors instead.
 
I LIKED the idea of Daenerys going bonkers. But the setup for this makes no sense whatsoever. The only SLIGHT hint in all 7 seasons she'd go batshit like this was when she actually roasted Dick'em & Pops. If this is the outcome they wanted for her character, they should've spent more time building towards it, not spending the entire length of the show making every effort to show that, yes she's entitled, but her main actions are to protect the innocent people blah blah blah. NONE of that matters, at the sound of a fucking bell. Same with Jaime, just shit on 7 years of character building because "OH MAN, THEY'LL NEVER GUESS THIS!"

Count me annoyed. I don't like watching a show I was enjoying just get completely trashed. On the other hand, the super salt is fun to watch too, so...kinda worth it?
