A sad day for Saudi Arabia's finest forward.

No, it isn't about strong teams or not, that entire game was an anomaly that we never saw before and after. Few days ago I rewatched the best moments of this very same match and would you believe me that Brazil played a more offensive game and had more dangerous moments than any of the 2026 WC games? Surprising but true.Personally I would be happy with this World Cup being a repeat of the last with Messi humiliating the "French" tranny fucker. Also happy with Spain or England winning. If the US wins just once in my lifetime I'll be happy but I'm just gonna keep dreaming on that one.
I think that was part of the problem tbh. Brazil was up against fairly easy teams for the better part of that World Cup and even then their performance wasn't great. By the time you get to the semis, there's no more bullshit teams to weed out, you're facing a serious opponent.
Yeah... wait what? It's weird that they all hug at the end. I watch BASEBALL like a real man. Nothing but hand shakes and ass pats like God intended.
Imagine getting so buck broken that the next game Hues cheered for them.
As far as crying Ronaldo moments go, it's pretty low on the list, imoI'm glad that Ronaldo is gone, the old man looked like he was about to cry at the end there and it made me very happy.
I watched 7-1 live while also shit posting on /sp/. Was one of the best times I have ever had watching a soccer game. You zoomers have no idea what a glorious day that was.

I give no shits about Spicbol, but I do love suffering of the retards who make their lives revolve around it. So RIP BOZO.PENALDO'S GOING HOME!!!! HAHAHA
This is me. I don't give a fuck about the most boring, brown sport in the world full of the most retarded arbitrary bullshit and random ass vibe-Refereeing asspulls. But I want the US to win because it will create the greatest amount of global seethe while the majority of the US gives zero fucks.I think whoever wins tonight's game is going to lose to (most likely) Spain in another 4 or 5 days anyway, so I'm rooting for an American W purely on the basis that it'll generate maximum seething on shitholes like Reddit.
this describes the entire sport.Literally "Nothing Ever Happens" the game.
My first memory in life was my grandma taking me to KFC and then me sitting on the gravy container and it exploding all over my ass because she left it in my car seat.My first memory that I have in life is the 1998 elimination in France
Its not the goals. Its the almost goals that people come for. Especially those last few minutes of the Mexico game where they try again and again to score, even sending the Goalie to the end field as a last resort in the final minute. Those are fun games to watch. When the teams play keep away and aren't running for the ball like their lives depend it, then yeah, it becomes super boring and starts to resemble a game of golf.this describes the entire sport.
My very American opinion is that merging COMNEBOL and CONCACAF wouldn't be the worst idea for both continents. It's not like CONCACAF is suddenly going to take over the Copa America. Really the only teams that have a shot of winning it are the US and Mexico, and even Canada came 4th in the 2024 Copa, which was the 2nd to be hosted in the US. There are even murmurs of hosting the 2028 Copa in the US, but not to overlap with the LA Olympics. As for the big 3 of CONCACAF (the CUM nations), they'll get even more regular exposure to more serious contenders instead of beating up on Panama, Costa Rica, or Honduras.COMNEBOL and CONCACAF were being rumored to merge and create a bloc powerful enough to create, at best, a parallel WC, and at worst, attempt to usurp FIFA outright.
I don't get Americans, really. Sometimes I think they have a short attention span. Like they expect football to be like basketball, where both teams seem to score every 8 seconds back and forth. But I've watched baseball, so I know they also have an incredible tolerance for tedium. Its not the goals. Its the almost goals that people come for. I've always theorized its institutional rather then cultural. Sports in America is big business and a large portion of the business is advertisement on TV. Network television HAAAAAAAAAAATES Association Football because its a dynamic game with almost no breaks. Baseball, Baketball and American Football all have extensive breaks in play that are used to run advertisements on Network TV. So in the early days when professional leagues were setting up, those games structurally were more profitable. So that is what was played on television in the USA. Association Football got absolutely zero air time. Because there was no money from advertisement to be made.I don't get Americans, really. Sometimes I think they have a short attention span.
