I think what's both hilarious yet absolutely infuriating is that these people wailing about Native American oppression aren't even knowledgeable on the actual injustices they've suffered in more recent times. I can guarantee you none of them can name Leonard Peltier and the shit the FBI did to falsely incriminate him, which included sending two FBI officers to die on a case of stolen cowboy boots (something you'd think the local police would deal with) by the hand of some other dude who was later killed in a gunfight wearing one of the slain officer's jackets. Despite this, Peltier was still convicted and given two life sentences for crimes he didn't commit because he was a leader of the local Native American rights activist group that I don't remember the name of. This shit is completely in line with J. Edgar Hoover's Orwellian FBI practices. Yeah, a headdress on a cat chick is what's oppressing the Native Americans. Fucking neck yourself if you still think a headdress is the real oppression after you read up about the Peltier case.

Tbh I saw people who are Natives attacking her and saying it was racist, so there wasn’t simply overwhelming support for it from every Native person.

Frankly I think the image was in poor taste, but I also don’t think launching a massive attack on the artist was worth it. Apparently the artist got so overwhelmed by the negative response that she said she “no longer has any sympathies for their struggles,” which really set people off too lmao.

I mean, I don't disagree with the people saying the Polish chick has no knowledge of the Native Americans' struggles, but to just flat out say you no longer care about them is the other extreme. I'm not mad, as logically someone in Poland has more pressing issues for them than the struggles of people in another continent, but to just say it seems like you're either a cunt or just trying to offend people for the sake of it. Really, nobody seems to be in the right here, and it's kind of gross.

Yeah, I agree that she fell for what is essentially reverse trolling and made the whole thing bigger than what it should've been. Especially when she put "public enemy of the Native American SJWs" on her profile. That put a bullet through whatever credibility she had left and now screenshots of it are being passed around Twitter for all to see for a long time. It's also become a bigger issue than it needed to be. It's a bit of a shame as the artist composed herself sorta well initially but, like you say, her attitude just gave them more ammo to throw themselves at her and she also got overwhelmed to the point where she couldn't even block anybody anymore because she reached the max limit. I don't think she realised that it was going to blow up like it did but, hey, quote tweeting is a bitch like that.

On the other hand, I doubt apologising or even deleting the image would've done any good either. Mostly because sjws are fond of saying "well, u shud've known better!1!!!" and judging said apologies like they're certified human lie detecters working for the FBI. Not only would it take actual effort, but it would also take time, resources, and research. Peltier has been in jail for crimes he didn't commit since the 70s and nobody really gave a shit. People even protested him being pardoned because they didn't bother looking into the nature of his trial and "offense."
