To date, the only episode of any official media to have been written entirely by a fan was an episode of Dexter’s lab called “Dexter and the Computress get Mandark!” It was written by a 6 and a half year old boy named Tyler Lee who won a contest with Cartoon Network, and its fucking adorable.
 
Greece was voted by literally every country in Europe to be the laziest (except Greece, of course) despite consistently working the longest hours out of all the European countries.

Really makes you think.....

Most organizations that rank freedom do not factor in the presence of hate speech laws, morality laws or overly zealous defamation laws so the USA consistently rates lower than Europe and several Asian countries on the issue of freedom. The UN and Freedomhouse are the most obvious examples of this and also the most frequenly cited sources for freedom rankings for academics.

"Hate speech" laws mean you literally don't have free speech even on paper.

It's an exception that eats the rule.
 
Of the Big Three Music Companies, only Sony Music Group is actually owned by the company that you think would own it, Sony.

Warner Music Group is owned by Access Industries, which is a conglomerate that does Chemical creation, real estate, venture capital, and TV/Music Production. (They do alot of movies with Warner Bros though, and they co-own RatPac-Dune with Bret Ratner.)

Universal is owned by Vivendi, the guys who own Studio Canal and Gameloft.

neither of those companies have been owned by the company you would assume they'd be a part of since 2004.

Fun fact: after Kingdom Hearts 3 finishes downloading and you play the game, you will be stopped in one of the first areas for a massive download.

The term “Mongoloid” used for people with Down’s syndrome was coined by an old belief that everyone on earth fell into a certain group based on their heritage, and said group determined their mannerisms and intelligence, i.e negroid people had African heritage, Caucasoid people had aryan, Semitic and Hamitic heritage. The reason mongoloid was used to refer to people with downs was because the guy who came up with it saw that people with downs had features similar to people from Asian countries. The old term for Down’s was “Mongolian imbecility” or “Mongolian idiocy.”
