Yea I'm pretty sure it's included in those curated free game lists as I definitely got it free ~2 years ago when I signed up for gog. It's my second game when sorting by "purchase date".

The Witcher 1 has a great story and is a fairly unique game but my God does that uniqueness also make it very much a love or hate it game when it came to the gameplay. Though once it clicks and you get the hang of its rhythm game-esque combat it's actually kinda fun, 2 and 3 have way better gameplay overall but I appreciate 1's jankness and love it for what it is. Alternatively you can just spam Aard and cheese through the first act then invest heavily into Igni and use Tawny Owl for super fast stamina regeneration and cheese the rest of the game with your fireballs of death.

The XCOM style game All Walls Must Fall is now free to play on Steam. This game was selling for $10 before it went free to play this month.

Culture war aside, they've got a decent assortment of musicians on the OST, most notably Ben Prunty. Might be a promising sign given that it's supposedly as much Necrodancer as it is X-com.

Not a PC game but apparently Crackdown 1+2 are free on Xbox Live Marketplace. The service is shutting down on the 29th so might be a good idea to grab it now. Might be a few other free games there but this is what I noticed.
BTW I am not sure if this is new or if it went free years ago, but I'm gonna check it out regardless

I just checked and can confirm that they are, it doesn't look like there are any restrictions in place either so hey free decent open world fuck shit up games. Their DLCs are free too.
