There was a lot of ridicule because the FIA fucked up so badly, half the grid was penalized for sneeding in the pitlane

I've been moderately disengaged from following F1 in the past few weeks because life happened, but I don't see a whole lot of conversation around here, so I guess the FIA sorting out the penalties from Monaco is still the most interesting thing to talk about since the only reason I knew there was a race this weekend was that I was getting a bunch of notices that drivers were getting "replaced" for FP1 this weekend (those articles always have scandalous headlines as if it wasn't required).

I kind of wonder why female drivers aren't forced to do the same kind of faggotry that F1 drivers have to do for the media. I realize that the dynamics are different, such that F1 drivers are so incredibly polished for it (unless they have the clout not to have to be), and that men aren't going to swoon over the women the way women do for the men. You'd kind of have to admit that if you wanted more male attention on the female drivers, you'd need to put them in bikinis first (oh hai, Danica Patrick).
I hope the IndyCar race in DC gets some grid girls.
There aren’t sponsors that want to spend money on it is the answer. A female driver will have to make it into F1 or F2 proper before they join that circus. An all-female category will get none of that.
They’re claiming it was double yellows when Antonelli went through but not George and it was double yellow on track but not digitally. Basically making shit up to suck off toto.
Yet they punished Max (and Horner for commenting on it) a few years back when he went though a section where a marshal threw a yellow without the timing system saying it was a yellow.

Yeah. even in Quali they went on "Hamilton's fight for the title" I mean yeah he won a race and as a bonus Antonelli DNF'd but he needs a few of those. And MErc seems to be clearly faster. They also stated that Ferrair has less power because the track is in a higher altitude and the smaller turbo can't prodcue as much power because of it
