Fire Emblem series

I think the brazilian miku character just being brazilian miku and being named miku is far funnier... We've gone from medieval stories about comradery and despair, literally based on European myth and things like the Nibelungenlied and the Poetic Eddas... to injecting irl meme characters into the games.

Aaaaaaand of course she's another fake black with non-black eyes, a caucazoid bone structure, and straight white woman hair. KEKKITY.
Are you sure she's named Miku? Because in that screenshot, her name is a Japanese transliteration of the name Esmeralda.

Granted, since its probably a Hunchback of Notre Dame reference, she's probably supposed to be knock-off Roma, not African. That said, the FE fandom page gets it wrong, because Esmeralda in the book is a French woman who was kidnapped and raised by Gypsys, but wasn't one herself. Either way, I'm so not interested in this game, short of just seeing what new fresh hell they they're selling.

most of that side are Roma based, but this entire thread is kneejerk Nigger reactionairy even when they barely look like Tan Nips.

Where am I wrong?
There's basically no hype around it as far as I can see, so far no hook in the way that old games and even Engage had beyond Sothis being older and a brief shot of a lasergun, only character I see people consistently talk about so far is not-Alucard, combat doesn't appear particularly inspired or interesting from the little that's been shown, etc. I wouldn't even confidently say it's appealing to 3H's fans at this point given how disconnected it seems to be. Of course all of that could change but I just don't see the sort of optimism or interest 3H had during its initial media tour.

You're correct that it will probably do well in the sense that Pokemon Scarlet and Violet did well, but no one was arguing likely being a minimal viable product means it 'looks fine'. Engage was the same and it still bombed compared to not just 3H but Awakening and Fates.

This guy's hair is really confusing me. I think it's a front facing ponytail? Also it's bothering me that his beard is a completely different color. Maybe it's just the angle or something, but I feel like his hair really clashes with the rest of the design. I like the others. Big fan of caligae leg straps and the general gladiator aesthetic they're going for. And I really like the design on the Archer girl's skirt, though all those straps on her top are excessive. Reminds me of a Guilty Gear character that has a ton of belts for no reason.

So rounding out "the developer's barely disguised fetish" theme, we get Professor Nigger. Also known as "Pirate Waluigi," according to Reddit.

Doesn't really seems inspirational, aside from the pointed mustache and the way he carries himself

Ok, what the fuck? So what happens when some asshole in a chariot decides to run this guy over? Surely there's an Lieutenant Negress that he's mentoring, right?

Succession crisis is on the horizon and this guy is the only one who's capable of resolving it.

And here's the General in action, fighting off the undead in an area that is thankfully not the colosseum.

But honestly, it just feels like half-baked
