FFXIV's DBM equivalent is still pretty far off. We have cactbot but it's bad and frequently breaks even on old content. Still didn't stop Max and his retard crew from wanting to bankroll a glow-up for it without realizing that this shit is going to get their entire group nuked from orbit.

It was never fully abandoned, at last not on Primal. People still go there to farm bunnies, but more and more folks are now going back to finish relics since FFXIV is in a content lull leading up to Endwalker. Normally it was only around 30-50 folks but echo and nerfs make it quite manageable, I've gone back and gotten two relics, I only ever finished one when it was a thing in Stormblood.

The number of occupants in there on Primal are a bit higher, give or take, because green leafs are curious about it and checking it out. So it's a mix of new folks wanting to complete it, people going back for more glamz, and bunny fate farming.

Well, first you have to progress Eureka until you unlock Pyros and Hydatos. Then you have to grind FATEs between elemental levels 35-50 in Pyros, then you have to do it again for FATEs in levels 50-60 for Hydatos.

I gave him a fair chance when I watched his Heavensward MSQ summary video.

God damned faggot had the shittiest reactions to every story beat and kept pausing mid-cutscene to go off on completely fucking baseless tangents theorycrafting about whatever was going to happen next, or about worldbuilding elements that either somehow completely went over his head, haven't been explained to him yet (but will be), or just flat out don't make fucking sense in the context of things.

Now I haven't played every single job in FF14 yet so I'm not sure how this holds true overall, but so far I have not looked at any jobs and thought to myself, I need to know information that the game is not displaying to me.

Some stuff isn't outright stated to you, but you can kindof figure out on your own (and then you learn the rest when you look it up). Dragoons' 4 different jump attacks should not be woven with anything else in their oGCD, for example, and at level 80 a Summoner wants to only fire 3 GCD abilities from Dreadwyrm Trance in order to keep the timing of Phoenix and Bahamut relatively in-sync unless you really need the extra mobility (as drifting screws up raid buff windows).

It's never rocket science. Grab a class, sit down at a training dummy for maybe ten or twenty minutes and look over your passives and skills. You'll figure the rotation out excepting the minor little things that perfect it. Makes it truly baffling when, for example, some retard level 80 red mage hardcasting the 6 second spells insists that he can't dualcast verraise and that "not everyone plays this game all the time omg." The type of people who put in that little effort really should be made into soylent.

Speaking of, fucking excited that Crystal is going to get the newest crop of slop to mix in with the half-drooling retards who are already trying to shit everywhere because their comfy little grooming space is being invaded. I really should've hopped to Primal when I had the chance.

I have never socially associated with a Hrothgar, no, but I've heard all the horror stories and I'm not the least bit surprised considering how male Roes had notoriety for similar reasons.

In fact, a friend and I were just talking about that, and to reiterate something I said to them: Male Roes were popular, but then "Roegadyn but Furry™" got released as a playable race, and more than half of the playerbase immediately outed themselves as closeted furries who wanted the knot.

Crystal's generally fine these days. Most of its bad reputation stems from hosting Balmung and Mateus and also being ground zero for the Shadowbabby influx back in 2019. Now that the players who were sprouts during ShB's launch have a few raid tiers under their belts, completion rates are ticking up and things are getting better. As someone who's played on the raidtranny DC as well, I actually find Crystal DF groups to be on average less retarded than Aether DF groups. Primal has the best DF parties in general though.
