My experience with women in FFXIV has been mostly ok, mixed bag like everything and everyone else out there in a community as large and tistic as this, if anything, the few times ive been in sub sections of the community where theres a higher amount, its often the beta cuck simps that seem kinda more of the source of drama, horror stories of a loser mistaking basic human interaction for flirting and shit like that

If anything, cant blame some of these women for taking some little advantage, some poor sod shows up and helps you with pretty mounts or whatever the shit for basic interactions, as long as you aint retarded enough to get stalked or doxed its free shit lmao

But I mean, that's okay because that's playing the game. What's the point if you just get everything handed to you? Women love to complain about the way men treat them and view them with sexual objectification but they sure as shit ain't got no problem with it if those same mouth breathers wankin' it to the sounds of their voice give them free stuff. They think it's supposed to be empowering for women in general but all it does is give off the message that you're a lazy cunt who'll use her gender to take advantage of a bunch of sweaty, autistic, anti social retards. That's not empowering, that makes us all look like manipulative thots. This is why most AVERAGE guys think we're evil pieces of shit. The double standards bullshit that broads like to pull really irks the fuck outta me. They can't even handle critisism without turning to the ol' "Oh you're just saying all that because I'm a WAHMAN. This whole controversy is amazing and I want to read through the rest of it, I'm in that discord too but I never, ever check the chats, I just hit up the resources and it's muted otherwise. Now I feel sad I missed it in real time, props to the folks that saved shit. Reminds me of the last scandal a few years back, that MooglePost website. Fun times.

Yes, good. Keep them contained. Not everyone wants to see their shameless degeneracy on full display.

I'm not into mods in general. I play on console but mods that improve graphics are okay. No use in putting mods that alter character models if only you can see them anyway. Also I find those mods disrespectful of the original creator's work. People put time and money into making the game and for you to shit all over it with mods is basically shitting on them and their hard work. That's like taking an artist's work and drawing a mustache on it because you think it would look better. That extremely disrespectful to them and their work.

That's just my opinion though.

No joke, a former male friend of mine managed to get some dumb sap to buy his female Au'ra character one of those Chinese dresses off of the Mog Station along with some dyes just by leading him on.

There's reasons why we're not friends anymore and this was a symptom of those reasons.

That seems a tad excessive, Ishgardian Restoration got me 1-80 in all 8 crafters at a price point of near nothing (maybe like 100k in leathers?). Blowing wads of gil on crafting seems like it'd be better spent on buying materials for HQ Aesthete gear and materia for Pentamelding it.

Outside of Eureka or Bozja all you lose is a bit of gear durability. If you die enough in Eureka you can actually lose elemental EXP and level down a la FFXI, but fortunately that's only for Eureka itself. You lose mettle similarly in Bozja but they made it much easier to earn back what you lost so it's not as bad.

While I was mostly just poking at Dopey, that is legit how shit would go down. I remember I used to park at Uldah or Limsa, craft some shit and wait for some chick character dressed sluttily to attempt to sweet talk me into gil. Back then you were able to "lol fuck off whore" and not get reported, and I mostly hang out at fc hourse or apartment to craft because annoying RP fags shit up the main cities save for Gridania. This isn't counting the ones that were dudes, I've come across a few guys that legit created a slutty female toon just to fork gil off of retards.

Meh, it's not a woman thing, it's a sociopath thing. MMO communities where accountability is non-existent tends to breed sociopathic tendencies. Human empathy is a developed trait through interaction and consequences and reward for atonement. These people did not receive this.

A game developer is making one for customization purposes and so that an avatar serves as a functionality for MMORPG mechanics or RPG mechanics depending on what we're talking about. There can be some creativity involved, but most developers don't really give a shit if people mod their games (I mean bethesda markets it to a tee).

Starting to like some of these modders now. Any one person or group that makes twitter trannies cry out in rage and doesn't back down is pretty cool to me.

I agree with Dopey to an extent, nobody else is seeing that shit and I guess the disrespecting creators art argument can be a thing, but that argument depends. But most of the xiv modders that are modding degeneracy are insufferable like the rp community using them. I can't be mad at modding. I lol at the Resident Evil Mods. Turning Mr. X into Thomas the Train chasing your ass around will always be funny to me.

Yeah, I get what you're saying. That's just my personal feelings about it. I tend to refrain from using mods lest it becomes something entirely different than what I wanted to play. That being said though, if anyone else wants to use mods, more power to you. I just wouldn't because I'd feel like I was being disrespectful.
