WoW meta and FFXIV meta are hugely different, though. There is also no "real" build variety in WoW - there never really has been either.

That was my point as someone who played wow for years. Sorry if that didn’t come through. I can honestly say that at least Squeenix is more likely to just rework or retune classes to fix a problem instead of just trying to plaster over the problem with sets or trinkets.

I wonder what hotness they're gonna drop on us but we won't find out for another time. Buddy of mine is hoping for a Mystic Knight of sorts, and I wouldn't mind finding a rune sword type melee thing going on, but we'll see.
