I skimmed and saw one of the sections called "I am not a femboy" which made me watch this for a whole 30 seconds, apparently his fanbase was upset that he's a "white douchebag" because they thought he was some soft gay femboy uwu instead of an overweight neckbeard.

After TWO FUCKING MONTHS, I finally finished the Endwalker MSQ and I can finally read this thread without having to worry about being spoiled. I thought it was great but lags behind Shadowbringers in some aspects and I'm still a bit bummed that Anima didn't turn out to be a primal. That last fight was fucking sick though so I don't mind. Anybody who hates people fistfighting while the anime OP is playing in the background is a coward who hates fun and should not be trusted.

But I actually came back just to say how much I fucking hate this community and how terminally unfunny they are. Absolutely insufferable people to be around with, ESPECIALLY during an alliance raid. It's like they're compelled to not shut the fuck up.

You should see their """""""funny"""""" meme compilations. I don't know if people in this community are lazy or so offended they have to basically reduce it to milquetoast and inoffensive stuff, but if there's one thing I learned is that none of them are original in the slightest. It's either an unmolested meme spliced with FFXIV imagery or they just take a popular internet phrase like "bitch I'm vibing" and have their original donut steel OC dancing to an anime opening... or it's just hildibrand shitposting.

Make a joke about Black Mages Matter though, and oh my god people will go unhinged foaming at the mouth crazy. Make a joke about erpers and people think you're kink shaming and you should just fuck off back to primal lmao. Make a joke about the parse trannies putting out gold numbers in suicide statistics and you'll get permanently banned.

If he's this much of a whiny bitch to the public, I shudder to think what it'd be like being in a static with this guy. I'd be looking for another group, too.

I get the sense that he's some entitled, insufferable asshole who thinks because he's a magical content creator, folks should kowtow to him.

Thinking about it a bit more, I'd rather the unfunny autistic retards than ERPers. Those people are socially disconnected from even FFXIVautists and are very fucking obnoxious, even more so than the ones who spam unfunny memes and what not. I had somebody who was a little more entrenched in FFXIV's RP "community" explain AetherSense to me and I really don't know how things even get that bad. Especially in Crystal, I tell my friends who are new to game to avoid talking to the community as much as possible, which is depressing because its a fucking MMO. I don't really bother with endgame content (yet) so I can't say anything about raid/parsetrannies but they seem like obnoxious sweats who cry about doing 20000DPS instead of 20001DPS. I'd still rather have autistic sweats than autistc degens who mod their characters to look hyperinflated blow-up dolls.

Also Black Mage Lives really DONT matter. If I die halfway through a trial or some shit, I don't get revived until the boss has 2 percent. Yoshi P needs to get off his lazy, privileged ass and give Black Mage Dualcast, Multirez, 20000 MP, and godmode for reparations n shiet, nigga.

You'd think for how whiny he is, he'd have a larger channel with more of an audience, but the guy has 3k views on this video and like 17 likes on his quitting FFXIV post that was linked in the thread. His channel really is way to fucking small to make this much of a fuss about "quitting" for like a week or so.

Personally, I don't really care about all of that because at least with ERP mods, I'm not seeing it and I don't have to see it because I don't use twitter or ERP discords, so I'm not really affected. As for AetherSense, again doesn't really affect me. I might suggest for them to start hitting the gym and start looking in a mirror every once in a while and maybe try for the real thing, but I can't bring myself to care about it. If they keep themselves in their own little clique in private, I don't give a shit. It's the moment when they start coming up to me and saying "notices your bulge UwU" or trying to advertise for boyfriend free girls in party finder is when I start blacklisting people.

I guess you have a point there. The only reason I'm more annoyed by it is because somebody I know is slowly and slowly going into that path, the whole thing disgusts me way more than unfunny retards. Also didn't the devs curb ERP shit on party finder?

In retrospect, you should have added a caveat for Tumblr fanart tier "everyone's implicitly gay and/or the sassiest bitch" styled art as well.

Sometimes there's a good one among them but the style is just so prevalent that I happen to find them boring.
