Nein. We're too spread out in different datacentres, and as said before, associating with the Farms on the troon-infested XIV is just asking for trouble.
Join a social guild that doesn't ask any obligation of you; they're plenty out there. The guild buffs are alright but nothing to write home about so you're not missing anything by not joining a FC.
I swear, the fucking bunnies are a black hole that sucks in fun. No, hearing the FFIV fight theme in the moon vessel does not make up for their shenanigans, and my heart sunk seeing them during Labyrinthos 2. Both Lab parts and the Moon's second half are easily the weakest part of the expansion.
A lot of people are always baffled by Zenos, but if you realize he has autism, he makes perfect sense. How obsessed he is about something retarded, and lacking in comprehension of anything human.

Sort of. Apparently there's an official short story that describes his childhood and it pretty much comes down to him growing up without parental affection. In real life we know this is a significant contributing factor to making a serial killer because it permanently fucks up your brain.
you know watching the lvl 89 dungeon cutscene made me realize that everyone pretty much forgets about Zenos after the end days shit, its almost as if they forgot to make him relevant to the plot lmfao, it feels phoned in during that ending cutscene

I mean, that's kind of the point. He's quite literally a murderhobo at that point, and the Warrior of Light just doesn't have time for his shit. All the havoc in the world he can make by himself doesn't remotely pair up to the Final Days. The only way for Zenos to get what he wants - one last glorious confrontation - is to actually understand what you're doing and work to help you in it, so you have the time to give him his fite.
I think the only moment I really understood what Zenos was meant to be was right at the end, as he dies by your side. He's like the Trevor of FF14.

TFW when you made me realise Zenos is literally the Gollum of FFXIV. The irredeemable little shit that still manages to be pivotal in saving the world. Although I don't think there's any allegory of Christian charity there, as Gollum represented.
sorry friend... this is our mmo autism club now... no newbies allowed...
However should you come in, come to siren and add me under the name Ghaccio Vento.
I have a very small and dead kiwifarms free company i set up with a couple of friends I met on the MATI discord when that was a thing.
I am so glad I spoiled myself on that end trial, I think I would have been too assmad about the story to concentrate on the fight had I not had time to prepare myself.
Boss design and music was 10/10 though.
Final thoughts on expac MSQ ranking (personal opinion ofc) ShB > HW > EW = ARR > SB
Personally I liked the msq but its weird that it has a lot of filler which really takes from the experience. I remember the saying its like 30% longer SHB in some interviews and honestly it would have been a better experience if it would have been 30% shorter
I like Zenos because his a retard but it would have been better if he would have died in ala mhigo because he doesn't really offer anything except a cool fight.
I liked the bunnies because they were so retardet. I think it feels just really weird that we see the moon first time in HW and the payoff was some retardet bunnies.
I don't think why anyone would expect to kill off anyone of the main cast. If you guys have played jrpg or watched anime it would be obvious that nobody isn't going to die. It would have subverted my expectations if they would have. Some fans would have probably sent death threats to the team for killing them favourite scion.
I really liked the ending. I loved the part where everyone was talking about their future plans and the send off.
My biggest problems are probably was that I expect a lot of characters from older expansion to be part of the story and the only thing they get is a every one is here moment in the end and that the pacing could have been more streamlined.
In conclusion I think it works well if consider part of the bigger story, but when you view it as standalone it starts to fall apart. Like when compared to other expansions which could have been their own games but it definitely wouldn't work for EW. And for what I like in the msq is usually just the money shot moments, which I think EW delivered in.
You know, extremely popular opinion here, I think they'd go a long, long way toward restoring real tension if they got rid of the macguffin that manages to deflate all tension down to zero at least once in every expansion.
Y'shtola's stupid fucking invincibility shield.
Whenever she's "hurt" or "dies", it's as immersion-breaking as the worst fourth wall hammering. It's like you can watch the Square Enix marketing director step through Meteion's galaxy-destroying power and resurrect Y'shtola right in front of your eyes. The villain looks confused as the tiny Japanese man vanishes, whispering "catto waifu makeu rotts of yen".
Had a weird glitch last night where the game somehow "un-registered" my Endwalker key from my account and I had to enter it on the mogstation again because I couldn't log into the game at all because my character was in an Endwalker zone.
It's the steam version so that might be something to do with it.

Pixie wings are an new cosmetic item that you can only get from the new level 90 maps.
Due to there being no portal mechanic added to the maps yet they dont have much appeal, thats why the items from there are worth a shit ton.
I sold those pixie wings for 3 mil, covering my map costs (150k gil)
Basically just wait until really early in the morning or late at night and you should get in. Servers are only permanently blocked to new characters in rare circumstances (like the aether lockdown of last year). Most of the time they're only locked because too many people are online.
To be fair, the game actually runs fantastically. Once you're in there are zero problems and I've been able to nolife the game with basically zero crashes, DCs, or major bugs. The only real issue is that there's like 30% more people than Square-Enix budgeted for when they bought servers last year.
In contrast to your average WoW expansion, where many things simply don't function day one...
