Final Fantasy XIV - Kiwi Free Company

So basically Orbonne is a filter for shitty players and that's why no one will explain how it works? Seems random but okay.

They can spend 5 minutes explaining it to you, or you can spend five minutes watching the video. Cid is a fight where one person messing up can pretty often come close to wiping the raid, even after ten-thousand nerfs.

Thank you, I will give it a watch when my rectal trauma heals. Agrias and Mustadio were easy, the snipe mechanic threw me off at first but after that it was cake.

Cid is frustrating because if one player in one alliance gets marked for the mechanic and doesn't move it away from the rest of the alliance, it'll fuck things up. It's very much the sort of thing where you can literally have one or two shitters ruining it for the other 22 people in the raid and there's nothing you can do. It used to be way worse too before they nerfed the fights so people could clear them for relics.

One of the merciful things about TG Cid is that he is voiced so you could beat him by associating his lines with his attacks. For example, I think he says the word "pitious" if he's about to do his spin attack (forgot if that's the one) and you should move in. After you're through with him, the last boss is easier in comparison.

Finally got my pretty marble from BA after grinding Eureka for a couple weeks. Was originally gonna stop after that, but after seeing the tank/dragoon armor I think I'll farm those out before continuing with post stormblood MSQ.

All of my professions are 65 plus now. Diadem/Firmament is nuts but to be honest, when you have no money to just buy upgrades, levels 58ish to 71-72 is a brick wall with the steep spike in gear stats. I dumped all my guildleve allowances to push my crafting from 60 to 65 each. Whoever told me not to use those till 80 is an idiot.

I hope you're doing GC turn-ins and custom deliveries too. Easy exp, low investment.

I haven't but I'll likely jump on those once I craft my HQ gear upgrades for my tier. Once I hit 72 and get those early Shadowbringers sets, I'm right back to the Firmament till 80s and maybe beyond.
You don't need best gear to do them. Custom deliveries start at like level 60-ish, and only take gear around that level. GC turn-ins scale by your crafting level too. There's no reason to put them off.

One, buy yellow scrip gear as it beats the crafted set or is close enough unless you do overmelding on each crafted piece's slot.

You don't need gil to gear up enough to push to 80 especially with Diadem/Firmament. Look up scrip turn ins you have and find the easiest and highest one you can do. You can also do weekly custom deliveries which are usually stupid easy to do and give massive amounts of exp and scrips. Unless you want to hard macro the highest recipes, or you're lazy, you should not be buying gear at all and should settle for yellow/white scrip gear. Use the 60/70 gear to push into the next level cap using firament/scrip turn ins in tandem. I think the only gear I'd even remotely consider beyond scrips is the Ironworks crafting set (level 60 set) because it works on all of them while the level 60 yellow scrip gear is tied to EACH class due to old design philosophy.

Second, the leve thing is because around the tail end of progression you can farm gil steadily using coffee biscuits (a cul recipe) which people have used to get literal millions every month via macro spamming and very easy to do gathering that takes barely any time. Now if you're capped you might as well consider using them, but leve turn ins can be kind of annoying to do depending on what you get (as you want to HQ them) and scrips are about as effective (plus give scrips for gear) and cost effectively nothing while leve turn ins cost something due to leve being limited by time.

Última edición:
The one thing I'd recommend spending gil on if you're leveling crafters is some HQ level 80 food. This late in the expansion it's quite cheap and it'll make a noticeable difference when you're trying to hit those collectability thresholds. Blood Bouillabaisse is pretty good for this. You can also get Chili Crab if you're willing to spend extra or it's cheaper on your server for whatever reason.

Are they going to get rid of the "Firmament" when Endwalker comes?
We don't know yet and likely won't have any indications until November when they do the crafting/gathering live letter. If it does go away or change substantially, it almost certainly won't happen until 6.1 when the housing district actually opens.

Here's my speculation: The firmament area with its NPCs will stick around since they've attached custom deliveries to it. Ishgard resto stuff will probably get a final iteration to turn it into long-term leveling content for DoH/DoL. Skybuilders scrips will probably disappear, with the revamped Ishgard resto content rewarding EW's equivalent of yellow scrips. The current rewards for skybuilders scrips will either become purchasable with yellow scrips, be moved to the mogstation, or be put into the pool of stuff they bring back during moogle tomestone events.

I think nearly every major boss in Ivalice's raid series (or at least, actual characters from Ivalice that show up as guests like Mustadio, Agrias, Yiazmat and Cid himself) has VA work. Pretty much the only raid to have any VA work (besides Eden, haven't done those raids yet), which is interesting since none of the actual cutscenes have any. Maybe it's just Yoshida is a fuckhuge Tactics fanboy, he's gone on record saying Tactics Ogre is one of his favorite games and he nabbed Matsuno (main scenario writer for the Ivalice setting) to write for Bozja just because it was Yoshida's boyhood dream to work with him, dude's a real nerd.

Ivalice is either the fucking worst if you're an insane person and only do it for Bozja, a fun exercise with more brainpower than Crystal Tower if you've never played or shown much interest in the Ivalice games, or for Tactics/Ivalice fans it's usually the best raid in the entire game. The mini Ramza and Ivalice gear is just icing on the cake.

Eden has three voiced bosses, but that's because they're bosses based on story characters who have VAs already.

And speaking of raids, there have been uncomfirmed reports of melties from sfia and the Troons per Second crew because they didn't get invited to the media tour while Rich and Asmongold did. But it gets even better - stal, a member of the group that got world second on TEA, actually got invited over sfia as well.

From what I can tell the Firmament will still stay, as people will continue to earn skybuilder points for the Pteradon mount. Also Fetes being a constant thing are probably going to be given more and more items to them.

I'm surprised they're even inviting Stal after the meltdown she had. She's your typical virtual youtuber e-girl. They invite people that have some level of internet presence and probably aren't too toxic for the brand. Sfia's problem is with the latter, he would also get over-autistic with his view of the media tour.
