SCH vs SAGE thingy, feels like Sage has upper hand due to looking more intuitive to play rather than janky of SCH. There's also being the new thing and Gundam/laser is very contending to old fantasy nerdy type.
But for me, I appreciate that Aetherflow change will you more MP now, ED doesn't so I can feel a bit more comfortable saving Aether for backup healing. I don't do high-end raiding, if I'm wrong, please do tell me.
Fray was kind of dumb. they came up with this concept of drk being powered by emo magic and then didn't really put strong effort into developing it. the original quest series, much like the class itself, is a lamer version of warrior.
I think the emo thingy, it may comes from official English translation, I feel it makes Fray kinda childish/teenage edgy vibe imo. The more faithful translation seems better.
Warrior quest, I like the goofiness Power of love. It could be that I only started doing those after I finished the whole ShB msq, so the change of pace feels nice.
I understand playing class specific questline should be about teaching your character becoming better/stronger from a mentor kind of deal. Since, you learn new abilities from the questline til like level 70.
But I don't mind the type because your character is already strong, so it becomes a learning experience between you and other NPCs, discussion about it, understanding your character potential/strength. Which leads to why my character should bother "hanging" with less cooler characters and I'm still better than all of them in the end.
Oh, I agree PLD questline is just eehh til the end. I main War, so there's my biased.
