Final Fantasy XIV - Kiwi Free Company

Idk. I think it's really server dependent too. I know things are more mixed now with server visits, but I've been on one of the smaller servers on Crystal for a few years now and my only real experience with the full-on insane leftist alphabet gang types are seeing FCs that advertise themselves as safe spaces lol. And ofc even the "Female Only" groups are inundated with trannies.
But in my day-to-day, I haven't encountered any of the insanity I've heard stories about. I'm thankful for that, but I can't tell if I'm just extremely lucky, or if there's something more...
Do not under any circumstances join a female oriented group, this was a mistake that was made once and will never be repeated upon pain of death. It was meant to be a safe and responsible roleplaying group and ohhh momma mia it was INFESTED. Some of them were quite nice but it was a 1/15 split kinda deal. The rest were either Troons of a sort of flavor or were UP IN YOUR SPACE about your political opinions. Didn't stay long and the group apparently blasted itself into space dust very, very quickly.

Anyways. Everyone excited for the Live Letter? I can't wait to hear about the job changes.
Hells yes, I'm very curious what they'll do.

XII is actually the one Ivalice game I haven't played yet (besides Vagrant Story, that's apparently in the setting canonically). Even without the experience I can tell the art and writing team took a lot more from FFXII than Tactics Advance, which makes sense given TA Viera are way cutesier and would likely resemble Miqo'te if that look was adapted into XIV's style. Come to think of it, Tactics Advance hasn't gotten much fanservice or allusions even with the Ivalice crossover raid, something I'd probably be salty about that if Shadowbringers didn't have Nu Mou.
If you're a fan of the Ivalice lore you might have a warmer impression of the game than I did (I got really annoyed by the main cast of the game with the exception of the only two adults being Fran and that other guy I can't remember the name of. Also the combat was kind of boring.) But I recommend it if you want an Ivalice fix because there's a lot.

They gave Monk some nice fancy moves, but it came at another cost of Shoulder Tackle's been removed.

SCH looks like they barely did anything, it was a literal snorefest compared to the other exciting and flashy things. They also gave gap closers to other classes.. and SCH still has to waddle up to AOE for some reason. They've got no idea what to do with it right now.
The waddle was suppose to illustrate SCH's new ability - a slight movement speed buff that works in combat.

I wish I was kidding.

Job action trailers operate on monkey's paw logic. Scholar had the weakest showing so it's almost definitely going to be the new meta healer due to some tuning edge case.

Screencap this.
Or probably just because it was given a Peloton.

"Scholar make us run faster so we NEED A SCHOLAR EVERY TIME NOW."

im just curious on DRK's new move and happy on the change to salted sorta meh overall tho, hype on PLD, WAR's changes, and GNB's adjustments/3rd cartidge being neat

tank main btw
Also a Tank main.

I can only laugh with disbelief and bitter acceptance that Warrior's changes only make it even more braindead to play. Which also makes me tempted to go back to it, but I'll also hate myself for it too.

Yeahh as a DRK main i also kinda expected dissapointment with anything regarding tanks and DRK in general, a lil piece of me really wanted some major shakeup towards it besides fixing Salted Earth

I'm actually pretty hopeful about tanks since they talked about needing to time mitigations to get the most out of them. Maybe tanking will be slightly less braindead now.

People are dissing the movement speed buff as lame but it might unironically make sch the most desired class just for the extra mobility.
Maybe. But the job is so poorly designed in ShB that unless they fix some of those issues? I doubt people will really want to play it.
It's just not very fun to play, and I don't see an in-combat peloton changing that much.
