I think that picture sums up a lot of my feelings on certain offshoots of western "feminism". The interesting thing about this is that you'd probably be criticized by a feminist because of saying Islam (as well as a gaggle of other religions and cultures) is horrible for women's rights. They've not only lost their focus, which was women's rights and not the rights of anyone claming to be any kind of minority (imagined or real), but also tend to look for things to complain about that hurt their feelings instead of getting actual work in this field done.

I think really though, this comes from living in a first-world country where your immediate concerns are not being aborted for being female or having your clit spaded off. In pursuit of something to be oppressed about they start grabbing at straws, much in the same way that police would probably start jailing people for jaywalking and speeding if every single more serious crime was "solved".

The problem with Hirsi is that although she has done some good regarding feminism she has done some questionable things. Genital Mutilation, Honor Killings and such things are fair game. But she wanted close down all muslim schools, restrict immigration solely for muslims. Although being a atheist she is also an ally of the right-wing conservatives(since they are anti-muslim) and ask muslims to convert to christianity if they dont wanna become atheist essentially cementing their alliance. She became from feminist to a Anti-Islam conservative.
She even symphasized with Brevik.

What? You mean she sympathized with a man behind the shootings in Oslo? Also, in regards to questionable things, I came across this:

That literally makes me wonder why she would try to do that, eliminating the rights of one group. In fact, there is more below.

She was essentially saying that since advocates of silence protected islam he forced to use violence to make a point
 
I think we actually need feminism as a means to stop the pratiarchy and their phallic shaped opression over all things, specially, Video Games. Once we liberate video games from the clutches of racist, homophobic white males we can then tackle more important things, such as pity sex and youtube commentaries.
 
The first place we need to stop is with depictions of women in games. Their bodies are absolutely ridiculous. Almost every girl character absolutely needs to be about the same measurements as the average American women. This will foster inclusion and help minimize the damaging effects of white male privilege.
 
What we need is more female main characters, women can be just as good as men in slaying monsters, collecting coins, getting to the finish line or beating up street thugs.
 
maybe reissue classic games with the main characters gender swapped. eg: super mario sisters.

When Gears of War 3, a stereotypically 'manly' game about not much else than a bunch of gruff-voiced beefcakes killing monsters, manages gender in video game stories better than many other games, it's time to stand still and wonder where things went wrong.

I mean, if they can do it, why can't other games?
 
I think people are being really sexist and gender-normative about the sex of game characters.
Like Mario? Everybody says he's a dude just because he has a moustache. But girls can have moustaches too!
It's like, nobody ever bothered to consider how HE identifies and feels about all this.

Gamers are fucking sexist gendernormatist patriarchial shitheads, SMH...
