For your consideration I give you " because you're a bunch of moneygrubbingfuckingsuckingasspiecesofshit! Uh! (punches his own hand) I wanna punch you in your fucking face because you're such assholes! I fuckin' hate you!"

Possibly my fav DSP video ever because he legit sounds like he's about to start crying throughout parts of it. If you don't want the build up skip to around 9 mins for his meltdown but the whole video is amazing and truly epitomizes why I think the guy has genuine mental issues.

“You better not do this to Mass Effect 3!”

Oh Phil, sweetie, do I have news for you...

Yep and of course despite the shitshow that was ME3's original ending, Phil didn't swear off Bioware games at all. It's almost as if his integrity and indignation count for absolutely nothing.. how strange!

To add some extra context to this rant: he took his console and recording gear on the road with him while he attended a fighting game tournament with John Rambo and rather than show off his skillz all weekend long, he chose to spend most of the time hiding in his hotel room pointing his camera at the tv claiming he was just too into the game; after driving for hours across the country to reach the place. In reality seems like his whole agenda was to splurge money and create travel vlogs, with no real intention at all of taking the event seriously.

The video to me is just a great example of old style DSP proving that in fact there's never been any retro better version of himself. He tries to act professional and starts throwing a baby shit fit over a videogame ending he didn't like. Fuelled further by the fact out of 180 parts, a single video would maybe get a copyright strike and deprive him of some pennies. The only thing that changed is streaming broke his confidence. Talking to himself in a room with no live audience assured him he could make any level of mistake and scrub it out. Streamchat ready to snicker at him at the drop of a kickstart can on his dusty carpet simply has him on tenderhooks these days - but make no mistake the good old days some seem to reminisce about were still chock full of garbage!

"You tell me"

Is a classic fav of mine. It came out quite often per playthrough (don't know if it still does). He'd usually fail at something simple, shocking I know, and then combine it with a another classic. "I'm pressing x nothing happened, this is fucking stoopid dood. You tell me what I'm supposed to do". Usually made me laugh because when he had YT comments enabled he'd have countless people telling him exactly what he did wrong, how he could fix it or what not to do if he was doing something that didn't work.

Hundreds of people telling him what to do and yet like clockwork a video or 2 later "You tell me dood, this fuckin stoopid".

Still makes me chuckle thinking about it. Some of the few genuine laughs he's given me.

Última edición:
He uses "X has nothing to do with me" a lot lately, which also freudian slipped into "Kat has nothing to do with me".
Apparently nothing has anything to do with him. He only does positive decisions, as an intelligent mature adult.

His quotes about ijustine....

How he didn't get a lot more heat for repeatedly insulting her - just pig luck really

#D$phasitive

Variations of "I've gotta start all the way back here?" when he's playing older games that aren't very generous with checkpoints. Especially when he complains about the same checkpoint multiple times.

“This is what you want to see”

Yes, Phil, your only value to me as an entertainer is when you’re pissed off to high heavens. You’re exactly right. You getting mad is just what I want to see. That’s it. I want to see you upset and bitching and moaning. I don’t want to see you having fun, I don’t want to see you “chill”, and I don’t want to see you in a good mood. I am only interested when you’re angry and miserable.

This has to be the most stupid illogical thought process I've ever witnessed in my entire life. Only lobotomized chimps could nod to this manipulative toxic garbage. I guess the first line has to be one of my new favorite quotes, just right next to "It's Tevin's fault".

D$P 'apology' - a very insightful video (sorry if already posted)

But the interesting quote I thought was from 08:00-09:30

He has compared his situation to celebrities / people of status before...

BUT in this case he compares the 'context' of his insults to fans as being the same as if something "president Obama" said was taken outside of context ("as he has all this other positive spin...ah coverage TOO!")

Reminds me of the same delusions as David Brent comparing himself to Jesus - https://youtu.be/J8HsAZnzTUA

Inside of one minute

"The AC power cord....... What the f**k is that?"

And the idiot is not joking
To be fair, this is his primary reaction to everything even if the thing he reacts to is impressively obvious, close to a reflex.

An easy to identify creature appears. What's this?
Gets a new weapon. What's this?
A door opens. What's this?
The sun goes up. What's this?
Someone offers him a real job. What's this?

This goes hand in hand with "What's going on? " when he tries to fathom the absurdity of an everyday normal, easy to understand, not surprising and quite unimpressive (for videogames) situation.

Similar to what he would do over and over again during exposition dump cutscenes in games (I dunno if he still does this today I can't stand watching his boring garbage anymore!) - something plainly obvious or unremarkable unfolding he would always say "aaah interesting". When some genuine twist or revelation would come up, something most people would actually want to react to he would of course often sit staring blankly in silence. Genuine reactionary commentary from the master.

After watching an old D$P video (from the main thread) of him actually in a public seeing with other people years ago where he talked about his dorm unit being the known "party place"... I thought I'd go looking for some more older comedy lore:

"I'm the type of person...I don't just want myself to succeed and be happy; that's the type of person I've always been. You know, I'm not just 'everyone else f**k them I'm all for myself''. I want to see everyone around me succeed and be happy"

Selflessness personified...apparently a big public service telling stories and monetizing it on YouTube

I think mine is DSP saying (in triggered), "There's a stupid meme that my laugh sounds like 'ACK. .ACK. .ACK.' Now, Ladies & Gentleman, when I laugh does it sound like 'ACK ACK ACK ACK ACK':?: NO:!: I DON'T. . .I never, NEVER, say 'ACK ACK ACK', I've never said it once EVER:!: NOT ONCE:!::!::!:"
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0hJpMkDamBM&#t=1m14s

I giggle every time I remember this 36 year old saying this to a group of children who are waiting for him to stop crying and play the children's game they gathered to watch him play :lit:
