Lemon Drops. I think the balance of sweet and sour makes it interesting and the calories to longevity ratio it's hard to beat them. Like I'm happy to eat 1 or 2 lemon drops at a moment, whereas if it were any candy I'd eat the whole damn package like a pig.

Phew... I love me some crystalized sugar so thats a long list.

Candy:
Bottle Caps
Gobstoppers
Rockets
Love hearts
Sour Cheery Blasters
Garbage Candy
Skittles

Chocolate:
Crunch bars
Crispy Crunch
Mr.Big
Aero
If this counts then those chocolate puffed wheat squares you can get at gas stations.

There are many wrong answers, well thought out sure but the True answer is Candy Apples.

Think about it. The perfect blend of mother nature and modern sweets, health and unhealth. A truly balanced force.

I'm all about Reese's Pieces. As far as I'm concerned it's the only candy.
speaking about reese

Necco Wafers are back! Same flavours, same texture, but fresher; yes it is a joyous day. I got three rolls, a Sugar Daddy, and some Good n Plenty. (I feel like an old lady, but I don't care!)

Put Rolos in the freezer. Pop one in your mouth and bite down on it. The caramel shatters, but immediately melts on your tongue and the flavor arrives all at once.

I just ate a butterfinger for the first time in a few years, and they changed the recipe. A lot of people online were bitching about it but i thought the change was amazing. I want to buy another one lol

These, but most people say they taste more like poison than candy. Fun as fuck to give to people who have no idea what they are and see their reaction upon eating one. I unironically like the flavor though.

My all time favorite candy is one I can't get anymore. I have been looking for a candy that I ate a lot of when I was a child, but it seems like no one else remembers it and to this day I haven't been able to find any evidence that it ever existed. But, I swear I'm not making this up, I clearly remember eating these.

I don't remember the name, I just remember it was caramel on the outside with some chocolate filler on the inside. It was small, round, and each piece came pre-wrapped. I recall the foil/plastic being a muted purple/redish brown color? and I'm 99% sure it had the Hershey logo on it. I've searched for it high and low, and have never found it. I thought I had gone crazy and just imagined it, but my older brother remembers it too (and brought it up without me mentioning it so I know he wasn't influenced by me). I just really want to find proof this candy existed so I can stop wondering if my memory is worse than I thought.

(And no, it wasn't Werthers, I hated those as a kid)

Wouldn't be Nips, would it? Sounds very similar to what you're describing.

I found these candies at an Asian grocery store and they're the only ones I eat regularly now:

There is also a 'Super Cola' flavour, but the Super Lemon is definitely the best in my opinion. They're sour on the outside and have the hard candy in the middle. Sour stuff has always been my favourite and I also like Jolly Ranchers. I'm not as big on chocolate as I used to be, I only eat Reese's Pieces and I don't even go out of my way for those anymore.

Chocolate: Reese's Peanut Butter Cups, 3 Musketeers, Kit-Kats, Sno-Caps and Lindor truffles
Fruit-flavored: Starburst, Airheads, and gummy bears/worms
