I like marshmallows, so in the American-made selection, I choose:

Huckleberry Gems include two gem-shaped, huckleberry-flavored marshmallow crèmes enrobed in fine milk chocolate. Huckleberries are only grown in the wild and are very popular in the northwest, with a flavor much like blueberries.

Or,

The popular Idaho Spud Bar is a wonderful combination of a light cocoa flavored, soft marshmallow center drenched with a dark chocolate coating and then sprinkled with coconut (Sorry, no potato!). It was originally marketed as a "Healthful" candy bar since it is made with agar agar instead of gelatin.

But, when I am feeling poor, I choose this Mexican marshmallowbar:

Experience the perfect blend of sweetness and chewiness with De La Rosa Malvabon Duo, a classic candy from Mexico.

Fudge, like milk chocolate, coffee, and maple bacon. Plus brands like Kinder and Lindt. Otherwise matcha, coffee, and sometimes orange/chili/sea salt flavored chocolate. If not, cherry flavored candy, those Japanese mango gummies, or chocolate covered strawberries/espresso beans.

Love black licorice, but I am incredibly soft for a good mint chocolate anything (I hate dark chocolate, mint milk is so fucking hard to find). Do Macarons count? I tear those bitches up.

Always have been a big licorice fan, and color me pleased when I find out the Dutch make great licorice.

Most of their varieties include quite the salt piece of shit, but damn some of them slap. The mixture of sweet and salty is fun for the receptors

"Brown cube" as I call it. Sharp salt entry, into a chewy smooth texture. Has a nice molasses flavor. Salt level 3/10

School chalk, sweet hard coating, into a velvety licorice. I find the center liquifies in your mouth, leaving a creamy taste. I could eat a bag of these, but then my tongue would start flaking off.
Salt level 2/10, great entry level

For masochists, when you crave a spoonful of salt. Your saliva glands will retract, but need not worry you don't need to dilate anything. Very strong licorice flavor
Salt level: 10/10, would suggest with a nice cup of black tea.

Luckily where I am is filled with nutcase dutchies, the baking and sweets are a spectacle for me.

Dubbel Zout is an acquired taste, but I like a couple of pieces every now and then. I've yet to meet anyone else in person that can stand it.
