Putting a child into foster care is always the systems last resort. They will work with the child's parents first and if the parents fuck that up, then they will look for other family to take the child in. This poor kid most of been deathly ill from obesity, to be put into foster care.

I missed this but since this is the UK - absolutely. There will be minimum of 4 sets of people making this decision to go to court. It will be part of the NHS multi agency working and strategic partnerships to deliver safeguarding for children. The school, the clinicians, the council at minimum will be all communicating to each other. Neglect is abuse and counts. If I had to take a pin tack. I would say that primary decision for judge may be due to neglect for the medical conditions these children now have as a result of their weight and abuse. Unregulated diabetes will kill. Sepsis will kill. There is something off about this girl.
So her husband takes the dog for a run in the morning but then she goes for her "walk" with him later? Do they do anything together? She says has a "schedule that allows her to walk them whenever". IE, she has no job. I can guarantee when her jobless fatass is sleeping in and her husband is doing his morning jog with the dog he's forming a grudge. She says the dog "gets tired" and wants to be on the leash? The fuck? Is she projecting onto the dog? She's out of breath just waddling talking to the camera and her hair is sticking to her face she's so sweaty. What a hog.

I want to know why she went from a born again to a mormon. That must have introduced some friction with her parents. In a way I feel sorry for her as it seems obvious she was an afterthought to her military father and who knows what her mom is like. Probably another woman whose entire existence is defined by her military spouse -- and that level of devotion is never reciprocated or at least is very rare from the military types I've seen.

I think she's trying so hard to give off the cheerful, productive, squeaky-clean Mormon wife vibe, but it's all a badly-acted script.
There are many genuinely impressive Mormon homemaker YouTube channels where they show their days perfectly doing every chore imaginable: waking before dawn to do laundry, sewing clothing, baking from scratch, refinishing antique furniture, while also raising a horde of well-behaved kids.
But April has nothing but her sad fat ass and two admittedly beautiful dogs. Her young, attractive and athletic husband must look around at the other Mormon wives at their temple and think "WTF have I done?!" If she loved her husband, she'd leave him for his own good and let him go find happiness without dragging her along forever.
She probably made a friend group full of Mormons, and they told her she'd find a great husband and family through the church if she converted. They were half right. She got a good man, but ballooned up too fat to get pregnant.

Someone posted about this girl in Anna's thread, so I've wandered over. I suspect she probably converted from Baptism to Mormonism because there's a greater value on community and fellowship. I hope she's got a good marriage and support system. She seems sweet and like she has a pretty terrible eating disorder that's ruining her life.

It's not about your own perception or personality, lol; it's about one metric out of many to determine if your adipose tissue is literally increasing your risk for disease and premature death by choking your organs and clogging your arteries.
Some here may disagree, but it isn't terribly hard to eat ~2500 calories a day if you're used to eating that way. That's all a sedentary person needs to maintain obesity. You can feel like you're being "good" but you still just slathered 300 extra calories of dressing and 500 extra calories of fried chicken and cheese onto your salad and had two pieces of buttered bread. Just accept reality and either lose weight or stay fat. No more excuses.

Has she lost any weight at all since starting her journey? I've seen a video of her trying to walk a mile, and it was posted 8 months ago. Doesn't seem like her "process" is working at all.
It is kind of weird in the sense that she does more than most landwhales when it comes to walking or doing workouts, no matter how half-assed they are. With her weight, she should have lost at least some of it simply from doing physical activities like these. She must be binging hard off-camera for it not to work.

She’ll never leave him. With him, she gets to be the proverbial fat girl with a “fit” husband...even if it’s a loveless relationship and they’re both somewhat dead inside — her from psychosis, him from seeing her every morning when he wakes up. Meh. It’s all of the classic fatty mistakes. She’s using protein powder, protein bars, pre-workout and recovery drinks, so she’s taking in a lot of crap that she just doesn’t need. Her workouts look pathetic, but they’re too vigorous for her, and are just stimulating hunger, so she’s probably also eating more than she cops to in her videos. (But excusing to herself because....”I worked out so hard today!”) It’s all pretty laughable.
She claims to have lost about 40 lbs, but she’s never done a weigh-in on camera. She just says, “I lost X lbs this week.” So, it could all be lies. I only watch for the dead eyes and soulless demeanor, tbh. She seems to have a decent likelihood of just snapping one day, and I just hope she degrades to a Chantal level of crazy constant livestreaming before it happens, so we can all bear witness.

I tried watching April regularly, but it's just redundant inspiration porn for other mega fatties. As previously mentioned, she doesn't lose any actual weight, she has no real concept of nutrition (she loves shitty WalMart convenience foods that she could recreate at home for fewer calories and better flavor), and her empty, soulless eyes and canned laughter are unsettling at best.
And I don't understand where all the sympathy for the husband comes from. He's a basic boot bitch who fell for a classic military trap, and he should be ashamed. Everyone in the military is aware of the stereotypes and red flags, regardless of station or seniority. And even if she was 100lbs lighter when they met, being slim doesn't make your personality better. He chose this life, womp womp.
Granted, I know people can fake it till they make it to marriage, then flip the bitch switch once they feel secure, but I have a hard time believing she has the mental capacity to be that manipulative tbh. By the looks of it, she's been floating aimlessly through her whole life just waiting for an excuse to stop trying, and she found it in wifedom. She claims she lost almost 30 lbs in the first three months of her "8 month weight loss journey" (see her monthly weigh ins in the beginning), and her face did look a little slimmer after month three. That was back in fall 2020. Someone over 300 lbs should be able to lose faster than 10 more pounds in FIVE MONTHS for fucks sake.
