A fatty was actually killed when he couldn't be secured in a roller coaster and they let him ride anyway.

His family tried to argue that he shouldn't have been allowed to ride because of his disability (cerebral palsy) as well as his size, but Six Flags New England fired back that the Americans with Disabilities Act makes it illegal for them to refuse someone the ability to ride as long as they can physically enter the seat by themselves. Per this article.

They really should have turned him away not because he's retarded, but because he's fat.

"How could anybody as heavy as he was go up and spin up in the air like a yo-yo? It doesn't make any sense. He was over 200 pounds, maybe 225 pounds," Germaine Mordarsky, 82, said in a phone interview from her home in Bloomfield, Conn.

As the other article states, he was 5'2" and 230 pounds. With stats like that, I wonder how he would have compared in size to some of the Plus Sized Park Hoppers, let alone any other deathfats who frequent amusement parks.

A 14 year old that's over 300 pounds, a ride operator who was new, no supervisor. This was just an accident waiting to happen.

Tyre Sampson was actually 383 lbs (ride limit is 287) & 6’2”. In this case the operators really dropped the ball since clearly he was way over the safety limits no to mention his restraints didn’t go down all the way or lock in. In most of the ride deaths or maimings involving obese adults it’s typically their own doing for the most part. Usually they are told it’s not safe to ride (in one case it was a vet with no legs that insisted he ride) but then the fatso Karen’s out and gets on anyways and ends up dying.

I feel so horrible for this kid tho. He wasn’t some asshole knowing it was unsafe and barging his way on anyways. I feel once in the seat he had an inkling something was off but trusted the workers and also was too soft-spoken to say anything. By the time he was at the top before it dropped he knew he was gonna die (mentioned to fellow rider) but it was too late. At least the death was instant but I can’t imagine the dread he was going through while at the top then when he slipped out and fell.

I want to say it happened too fast for him to have registered it, but from experience, the world slows down to a crawl when you think you're about to die. Same with doing extreme sports.

That sound has never left me and legit made me second guess getting on any ride since. It was a truly horrific video and at the time I didn't see warnings about the sound. It's awful. I truly and strongly urge people to not watch it. It's not worth it.
