Fashion crimes against humanity - Stuff you should never have to see in public

Are people still doing the ‘top tucked in in just one place in the jeans making me look like a toddler that can’t dress herself’ thing? That and the fashion for tops that are huge and baggy, too long to be cropped, but don’t get to the hips or even the waistband. It’s as if people are choosing the most ill-fitting clothing they can find and calling it fashionable. The only reason I can think of is either to be contrary, or some weird attempt to make deathfats and their clothing issues stand out less.

I don't see people dressed like this on the street - but maybe I'm not paying attention. I do see models and mannequins dressed like this and I've learned that if the stylist is half tucking a shirt in to make it look cute n' breezy, it actually has a terrible fit. Someone once told me to check for clips on the back of mannequins because that was another way of faking a tailored fit for baggy clothing.
Another thing I've noticed is that they don't keep the fat models in their own section online anymore. They get some small but be-gunted woman and shove her panniculus into some hiking shorts and now I'm left really clueless as to how those shorts are actually supposed to look. Thin and tall models make judging how an item will fit on me challenging, but at least you can discern how the item is supposed to look.

Dude women nowadays wear pants in the Gym that separate their butt cheeks, and I've asked, it is actually uncomfortable wearing those.
I’ve recently heard somevery disgusting and unladylike things that certain women have supposedly been doing to try to make themselves more alluring, I assume the same kind of women who wear those pants.

It's called "vabbing" if you care to look it up. Fucking vile.

Vabbing is the application of vaginal secretions as a perfume. It was popularized on TikTok in 2022 as a way of attracting men.

Also adding that and menstrual blood to their boyfriend's food without his knowledge or consent.

So this is hair, which is only sort of fashion, but does anyone else still think about the crime against humanity that was baby bangs? They still pop up occasionally when some misguided celebrity goes for them, and I can't get over how hideous they are. I just don't get it. They look like the bowl cut I had in my kindergarten school photo that was damage control after I tried to cut my own hair. And not in a cute way lik it is on a four year old.

They always remind me of the woman in the National Accident Helpline ads from the mid-2000’s. Even then people thought it looked stupid enough for her to become an early meme.

Woke people call the micro fringe “terf bangs” and it honestly confuses me so much because I’ve literally never seen a terf with a micro fringe and the people I have seen with them have been woke pseudointellectual libfems.

These are based on the MSCHF "Big Red Boots"
MSCF.png
They are, no word of a lie, supposed to look like Astro Boy's shoes

MSCHF are an art collective that do deliberately wacky stuff. They basically have a website where they'll do extremely limited "drops" that sell out within minutes. They'd do weird shit like "Puff the squeaky chicken", a bong that's also a rubber squeaky chicken:
product_image_1.jpg
(it really does squeak) or "Sacred Seltzer", which was basically White Claw but legitimately made with Holy Water:

and they've done over stuff too, like paintings of people's medical bills which they then sold at a high enough price point to pay off those people's medical bills, or a robot that wrote your messages in child's handwriting and sent them to senators. They even bought one of Damien Hurst's dot paintings and cut it up and sold the dots:

and they bought one of the Boston Dynamic dogs and mounted a paintbull gun on it and let people control it in a little art gallery they'd set up:

Mostly they're taking the piss out of consumerist trends and more widely capitalism (they had one drop that was basically just hardware from a variety of failed mid 2010s venture capital funded startups) and you can make your own mind up on whether or not this is good art, but for whatever reason they started getting into sneakers (probably to mock sneakerheads who spend loads of money on sneakers and then just display them). They're the people behind Lil Nas X's "satan sneakers" that contained human blood

and they've also done stuff like medical boot shoes:

But yeah, for whatever reason, they've started selling actual sneakers, and they do stupid brand collabs as a joke. In this case this is a legitimate collab between MSCHF and Crocs. The thing is though, hypebeasts are now starting to treat MSCHF stuff as desireable fashion instead of deliberately stupid looking art pieces;

and I reckon Victoria Beckham doesn't really "get" what's going on with the boots, she just thinks they're "on trend". I guess if enough people misunderstand the reasoning behind those boots and start wearing them (or knock off dupes) then they actually are on trend. Basically the only guy who gets it is the model they used to announce the Big Red Boots x Crocs collab

Is it a joke or pisstake, though, when rich idiots start wearing them and everyone else copies? I'm all up for seeing vapid idiots striding around in Chinese knockoff GIANT BOOTS, but they're gonna spend the next twelve months blowing smoke up each other's asses about how great they look, not pointing and laughing. That kinda sticks in my craw (like a GIANT BOOT, actually).

You know who would look perfect in the GIANT BOOTS? Troons. Specifically those metal fan Marfan syndrome types who are stick thin and seven feet tall, with long, spindly legs and long, spindly faces (and hair and moobs). They just need a GIANT HANDBAG to go with it and I can see them clomping about thinking they look like a goffick princess. Pure art.

I think they're attractive. Too bad my hair isn't normally puffy so I have to cut mine even shorter to not look like Lloyd Christmas.
They always remind me of the woman in the National Accident Helpline ads from the mid-2000’s. Even then people thought it looked stupid enough for her to become an early meme.
This one isn't attractive but she's just fat and has plucked eyebrows. The fringe should be less dense for dark hair, to not be making A Statement, but she could've pulled it off if not for the lard and the tweezers.
At least she doesn't hide her jaw angles, she simply doesn't have them -- this is less offensive than a terminal case of Fox News trapezoidhead.

I’ve literally never seen a terf with a micro fringe
8/8 but i will not post a selfie

Crochet has become trendy again, and while some of it is actually pretty tasteful, some have gotten a little goofy in trying to prove that it's not just for shawls and baby blankets.
