Sonichu [FAN COMIC] The Real Sonichu

What are you even planning on writing? This is important to know. Is it a 'straight' story like this, or a comedy, or horror...?

It's a story akin to a DBZ fighting tournament type deal, where after Rosechu goes missing, Sonichu looks for answers , eventually trying to talk to the mayor of CWCville himself, Chris, but Chris and the guards play dumb and act oblivious to Sonichu. He overhears a conversation for a Cwcville fighting tournament, and disappears for a period of time to train for the tournament. On the dawn of the tournament, he returns to CWCville, grabbing attention from all sides, and that's all I will reveal for now.

How often does he mindwipe people? If he does it sparingly and usually not in areas with a lot of surveillance then it could just be he's been relatively lucky.

It'll be explained more in an upcoming page, but let's just say he's built himself a quite a playlist of Phil Collins music to get him through the day.

_Blank_, I'm thinking of creating my own Sonichu "fan" comic, but, I don't want to fall into the common snags a lot of Sonichu "fan" fiction writers fall into, such as spamming a shit ton of "CHRIS IS FAT CHRIS IS FAT" jokes, or making everybody on Chris's side unlikable for absolutely no reason. So, to prevent me getting the shit trolled out of me and kicked off the site, could you spare some writing tips?

I can think of a few...
1) To have a fleshed out character, you need to understand how they're wired. Be able to construct characters that have been in different experiences than you have, and be able to empathize with them on a human level. Characters should act and react to each other in their own unique ways, depending on their backgrounds.
2) There is no such thing as an all-good character, or an all-evil character. Protagonists need to have some kind of darkness to them, and bad guys need to have so good to them. Having an all-good or all-evil character makes them obscenely boring.
3) When writing a shocking moment, to make it effective, don't have a shocking moment, one right after another. Also, when you do it, make sure there is some ramifications to it.
4) When writing, make sure you're writing towards an audience of strangers. If only two people get an in-joke, then it's meaningless to everyone else. And yes, I am guilty of doing this exact same thing.
5) You're going to fail. A lot. So does every one else, myself included. Accept this fact and realize it rarely means it's the end of the road and you can always pick yourself up and try again.

There's a lot more I can expound upon, but we'll leave it at that. For now, time for a new page.

Such an intimidating entrance. I think I'd forgotten how dangerous TRS Sonichu is. And of course he's perfectly okay with the mindwipe stuff. No ethical qualms about that, even when done to his lover.

Well, I guess we already know Magichan has failed the "getting Spunky out of Cwcville part", judging from her still being around in the present day. I wonder if she was able to teach him to be more sociable, then?

I have two theories as to why Magi-chan can't affect Spunky with his powers: either it's because she wasn't created by Chris, or it's because she does the weed and that makes people immune to telepathy, like Inos.

I was leaning toward the first theory too. Chloe did control her with spores, but then Chloe wasn't created by Chris either, so...

I consider it to be a comic. I don't set it into one specific genre because obviously Chris had no idea what he was doing with his comic either other than patting himself on the back. It could jump from goofy animal character fighting robots to brutal execution scenes in the span of three pages. I suppose mine works the same way, where I could be joking and making everyone laugh on one page, then the next throw people into a seething rage.

I can imagine TRS Sonichu just getting frustrated that RS Sonichu is either not understanding his insults or just not really recognizing them as insults at all. TRS Sonichu would probably win the fight anyway, though, assuming he's fighting the RS Sonichu from the beginning of the story.

I see Magi-Chan contacting Bill to clone her, psychically imprinting her mind (minus the dancing of course). He's technically not doing a mind wipe, simply a selective memory transfer.

I can imagine TRS Sonichu just getting frustrated that RS Sonichu is either not understanding his insults or just not really recognizing them as insults at all. TRS Sonichu would probably win the fight anyway, though, assuming he's fighting the RS Sonichu from the beginning of the story.

I get the feeling Rosechu's story is going to be the Eversion of Sonichu fancomics, starting off chipper, but getting darker and darker. To quote Deceased Crab: "STOP YOUR CHEERY LIES!"
