Heya everybody! Just want to give you a head's up that I probably won't be having a new page ready until Thursday or Friday. I'm presently working on a new title card for everyone's favorite maverick Mennonite, DStecks, for his upcoming Sonichu video. I'm planning on making it as epic as possible, what with rainbows and electric guitars and such, sooooo.... yeah. But after that, I'm hoping to get back on track with the comic pages.
But for now, some fan-mail! Or... fan-messages... or whatever...
This is the most accurate depiction of motherhood I have ever seen.
I grew up in military housing, where most of the menfolk (as well as some womenfolk, but mostly menfolk) had to be gone for 8-9 month stretches, leaving the other half of the family unit to contend with the little military brats. Maybe I have developed an ingrain concept of what exasperated mothers look and act like. Not saying my own mother smoked weed and called us "The Brood," but I've known plenty of other military moms that (more than likely) did. So, hooray for accuracy!
I mentioned in a previous post about my theory about incest, so I hearby propose the following:
All the Chus have infused in them the Chaotic Energy and Sonic's DNA. That means any and all Chu relationships are inherently incestuous and the Chaos Energy is exasperating these qualities (it wouldn't be called "Chaotic Energy" if it made things stable, now would it). Even when they're not suffering from inbreeding, they still have Chaotic Energy flowing through them and that's causing problems. It also explains why so many characters are crazy in CWCville. They have been exposed to varying degrees and have varying resistances. CWC him/herself got the lion's share, hence him being so crazy.
For Chus, only an external source can stabilize them. Christine being a mix of an anthro skunk and a sonichu makes her stable. Blake's combination of Cherry Cola and sonichu makes him stable. I'm going to say that Psychic Powers are able to counteract the Chaos Energy so while Magi Chan and Sylvana suffer from inbreeding, not every inbred individual is mentally unstable and they don't have Chaos Energy exasperating things.
Edit: Thinking it over, I realized that no, Silvana and Magi Chan are probably not inbred, but their psychic powers dilute the effects of the Chaotic Energy, so they don't have the sheer extent of crazy that the others do (though I forget if Silvana has derangement in this universe, but if she does, that can be assumed to be a combination of not perfect psychic resistances and Count Graduon's influence).
...and...
Welp. Blank, i have to say you outdid yourself on this one. Seriously, how these things made it to evolution and grew a brain is beyond me.
Edit: I just had a brainstorm. Since Sonichu and Rosechu were a Pikachu and a Raichu, (No clue if Rosechu was a male in _blank_'s canon) then they would have SOME of their intellegence leftover via the transformation. The Sonees on the other hand, are Pureblood Sonichus, so they must be nearly dumb.
One thing I am actively doing in the background of my continuity is removing any actual connections Sonichu and crew have with Sonic and Pokemon and the like. I realize it's flying in the face of what makes Sonichu such a laugh riot, but they way I'm going at it is that Chris summoned Sonichu and his ilk into creation through his own power. However, unlike certain theological deities, instead of making them after his own image, he made them out of his favorite childhood things. However, his personalities had manifested within his creations and they had begun to feed off of each other, hence the Chris and Sonichu connection.
But long story short, my versions of the characters are actually related to Sonichu or Pokemon- they are simply manifestations of a very powerful and very skewed power that brought them into reality. Still, awesome theories both.
@_blank_ will Rosechu be face-raping anyone in your comic? And if so, can it be a special POV centerfold edition?
Yeah, I'll call RealShadman or Ganassa and see if they can get right on that.
I'll just leave this here:

I really need to start playing tabletop games so I can get half of the references people use around here...
OMG they are so adorable!!! I want them! And hug them and squeezz them!
I think that I...kind of want plushies of those things...
I suppose that makes sense, kinda. I'm essentially combining pug faces, penguin bodies, and Chris Farley agility, into a pack of unholy creatures, so of course they'd be cute. Now just imagine them with a squeaky version of a Pee Wee Herman laugh and -BAM- hottest holiday toy of 2015.
Now just wait until you see what I got planned for babeh Christine.
_blank_, you've outdone yourself again. And this is a weird thing to fix on, but I really love what your marker technique does with Cerah's hideous spawn face. It makes her look ... glisten-y. Like they haven't grown hair yet and are just mewling, fanged maggots of Pokecest. Fucking awesome.
Yeah, that was a happy coincidence, kind of one of those moments when you channel your inner Bob Ross and things just happen just right on the canvas... or in this case, copy paper. I really like how it turned out as well. So thanks for that, I'm glad my evil maggot creatures meet your approval.
