Hey all.
So... visitng the family homestead and not gonna powerlevel here, but I'm feeling really emotionally drained. It's looking to be a possible long week for me. I'll spare you the details, but me trying to write funny isn't gonna happen and if I try to write serious, I fear it'll turn into more melodramatic pap.
Still, I need something to focus on and I don't want to leave TRS without content for a week, so I'm bringing back the casting call. Every so many pages I've noticed we get people debating who should play what role when TRS is made into a full-length movie. These would be (some of) my choices. You are allowed to tell me how retarded my choices are in your comment of course.
And now mailbag time.
I demand a Sarah McLachlan song to go along with this PSA.
Anyway, if I feel up to doing a page tomorrow, I shall. Otherwise I'll try to have the second part of the casting call up.

Heh, this was actually what I was planning on doing before this week. I'll keep this idea on the back burner though because I really like it.
Or like... ever. :p.... and that was the first time a girl had hugged Magichan in years...

Anyway, this is why Henry is always gonna be my choice for Blake. For me, Blake is concentrated anger. Not Hulk-out anger but just slow-burning rage. Henry explains it perfectly:

Alright. I've recently returned to the land of ice and darkness. Will be getting things back running and will have a new actual page posted hopefully on Monday. For now though, more casting call, in which we get actors who get paid millions of dollars to portray a character that I've had show up on like... eight pages.
Fun facts:
1) Yes, Adam Levine is Robee just so I can have an excuse to have people slap around Adam Levine.
2) Originally I was going to have "A Uruk-hai" so the role of Cerah, but Urak-hai tend to not work well with humans. So I figured I would go with Miranda since she has to be part demon to be able to put up with Blake Shelton. And if you have no idea what I'm talking about, you are truly blessed to not live in mid-west hell.
3) My interpretation of Reginald has always been Cheech Marin, but since he's too old to play the role, I went with everyone's favorite present drug peddler. Yeah, not breaking any new ground here but whatever.

Yup, he'll be in the next casting call.
But for now- holy crap- a new page! And what a marvelously shitty page it is! Been dealing with a lot of drama the couple of weeks, and have just been feeling all out of sorts, which I think has been affecting my art. I'm really not happy with anything about this page... but my editor said it was okay, so I'll trust her on it.
Here's to a better page next time around...

The best kind of tension is sexual tension. Goddamn I love this motherfucking comic. And I want to be Nait's voice actor, haha.Yup, he'll be in the next casting call.
