I'm actually deviating from Pokemon canon here with what it's like on the inside of a pokeball, because honestly the truth is a bit inhumane, at least in my opinion (assuming that pokemon are intelligent, sentient creatures with wants and needs similar to humans).

I've got to hand it to Chris, I love that badge design. The C and W plus the lightening bolt are all there but it looks like a regular Pokemon badge. Of course, it looks better from you...

It's actually not that bad of a design. I'll be honest. I'm not seeing the "W", there, though.

And LOL @ the gym having "The Classic" stripes

I've seen a few stadiums that will have the home team's colors painted around the stadium in stripes, so I thought it might add a nice touch.

I wonder, will this comic follow the video game rules, where a pokemon can only remember 4 moves at a time?

I'm going by the video game rules, at least for now. I might loosen things as things go and context changes, but for now, especially for official pokemon battles, we're doing Pokemon game rules.

Technically (if we're going strictly by game logic here) she would have forgotten how to use Tackle long ago, as it would've been replaced by a stronger move. Technically, she still knows how to do her thunder-based moves, but nothing comes out when she does it because she's lost her batteries, so to speak.

1. I'm not sure what you mean by one of the fighters, but as you may have guessed, Kel is going to be facing up against Solid Chris, who is acting in his capacity as Cwcville Gym Leader, very soon.
2. Ah... I'm actually not sure how to answer this definitively, because I do know that creepiness is going to be part of Solid's character, but I also don't want it to be just that, if you know what I mean. So... yes...?

There aren't any interdimensional gateways, no. The only way out of a pokeball is the same way you went in, and each pokeball is its own place, they don't share a space, as far as I know. If you want to read up about it, though, the Bulbapedia has lots of info.
