I think someone suggested something similar, yeah, but I think I'd rather find an option that avoids depicting her entirely...

I'd actually like to see your version of Megtune, since we've never actually seen the character drawn well (only Chris's crappy version. We also have never seen her written well, either.)

Just refer to Megtune as "Parla Schneider," which is a further Germanification of her name (Megan = "Pearl"; German for Pearl = Perle or Parla). "Schneider" is another German surname with the same general meaning as "Schroeder" (Schroeder = "Tailor;" Schneider = "cutter," which is a little less specific, but sometimes used to refer to tailors as well as woodcutters).

You might even give her a slight German accent to complete the ambiance.

Okay, so... I'm late again, but this time it's for a good-ish reason. I rewrote the dialog twice for this, just to make sure I was getting this part across as clearly as possible.

Big thanks to @_blank_ @KingofManga420 and @Poison_Ivy for their help with the revisions.

...and this is the point where Chris jumps out of the bushes to explain in length the genitalia of Sonichus and Rosechus. Afterwards a flock of multi-cultural children pop in from off-panel and say, "Thank you Chris! Now we know!" Camera pans by to Chris, now dressed up like Shipwreck and he goes "Hmm... And Knowing is... is the battle of which... is partially... done. Hm."

"Row-Zee-Chuuuuuuuuuu....."

Seriously though, glad I could be of assistance. *salutes* . Looking forward to the completed page.

Let it never be said that I won't just straight up pull an all-nighter just to finish a comic page. I'm insane, probably.

This page only causes more questions! lol

And that's to be expected. I'm not answering everything completely here, because it's going to come into play later. I'm aiming only to explain one or two fairly specific things about it.

I think it's a very interesting and believable conversation that you have going on with Kel and Rosechu. It really highlights the cultural barriers between humans and Pokemon as well as Rosechu trying to understand why s/he is the way s/he is. In a world where you can breed pink blobs with giant dragons and produce little dragons, of course sex is probably going to be different with humans compared to semi-sapient animals. I figured it was to my understanding that romance can exist between Pokemon as evidenced with Meowth in the anime, but ultimately, the similarities with human romance are probably superficial at most. She's more concerned with figuring out what she is and not about what pronouns s/he wants people to refer to her with and that's okay. :)

Contrast with what Chris was probably thinking when he established Sonichu and Rosechu as lovers

Would you look at that? I'm early this week! It's an early Christian Love Day miracle!

Hello Mr Camera in Panel 1!

I've been trying to put in hidden stuff every so many pages, or wherever they make the most sense, so having someone notice one of them made me really happy. Thank you :)

It has to be really weird being a pokemon. Not just because of the breeding, but also getting the snot kicked out of you every day has got to put a toll on you. For now I'm adhering to Pokemon universe rules in this comic, where getting electrocuted, burned, and crushed is not just good for Pokemon but they also enjoy it and form a bond with their trainers as a result, but in all practicality I imagine the life of a captured pokemon would be an awful existence.

I don't know any Pokemon professors other than Professor "Are you a boy or a girl" Oak, so I dunno if Cole is an actual canon thing. But if it is leaning more towards the Chris mythos, I wonder if this professor also moonlights as a movie critic with a perchance to hate Toy Story 3...

...and where is Sonichu now? Did they just leave him in the woods? Hopefully he doesn't start eating poison sumac.... again...

Granted, I like how the first thing you did with that page wasn't "assert that she is and always has been a woman because BLARGH! Sonichu is STRAIGHT! BLARGH!" I figure if I were a semi-sapient creature who has been morphed into something similar to what I was before but gained new levels of intellegence, the last thing I'd be concerned about is asserting my heterosexuality. It's like what Rosechu said, she's not a human and doesn't have a reason to worry about that kind of thing.

I think Professor Cole was a Chris invention that Trickie appropriated and made not-stupid. I hope she makes him kind of a hipster snob nobody likes like irl Cole, it would be hilarious.

Dayum, welcome to CWCville! "Lasciante omni sper(g)anza, voi ch'entrate."

It's a bit unnerving, prepairing to leave Rosechu's and Sonichu's heartwarming and fun adventures behind only to enter the ugliness that is Solid Chris's world. I guess it was inevitable...

I must aks, though: does the Remarkable Reformatted Raichu's speech bubble cover the last two letters of 'Virginia" on purpose?

This kind of had me thinking about what it'd be like if there was a rather deconstructive take on Pokémon done by someone like Garth Ennis. It wouldn't be pretty, that's for sure...
