Oh. My. God. Trickie, you did it. This comment of yours is officially the most badass comment in the history of comments. Ever. Dat Rosechu gif! How the fuck do you manage to make friggin' Rosechu more badass than Gurren Lagann, Asura, Guts and Wolverine combined?! Dammit, I have such a sever hype overload right now! Imma download that gif asap if you don't mind. I need it in my pitiful adult life.
Well, I did grab a sprite animation sheet to reference for the move, so I sort of feel like I shouldn't take all the credit for whatever badassery, but yeah... I don't mind if you download any of my stuff really. Some people get worked up over their art being taken and modified and stuff and I really just don't get it. I mean, it'd be different if it was the original drawing on real paper and someone just took it and vandalized it, but I've literally lost nothing from having my digital art copied or modified.
As for that other hilarious, though not nearly as cool, gif featuring Aladdin: I was listening to Stranglehold by Ted Nugent while watching it. The way that dude's sexy hips rock from one side to the other matches with said song's rhythm so well; it's quite the hypnotic experience. I think Y'all should try staring at dem hips while listening to ol' Crazy 'Nuge:

I always feel weird listening to Ted Nugent, just because he's got a decent song or two, but his political views make it hard for me to really enjoy them like I want to.
As for the stuff about Pokémon trainers and pimps: ever since I'd first saw that show I always wondered how cool would it be to have a dude who actually fights alongside his\her 'mons. Like, imagine a Solid Snake type character raiding some base on top of an Onix, shooting down people with a pair of uzis! Or showing a Poké ball down someone's throat just before it's about to release a Blastoise! Urgh, I need to take my anti-gush pills.
That's a neat idea, but I always liked the idea of an exceptionally smart pokemon becoming a trainer themselves. It's a neat concept that kind of messes with your head in the way Goofy and Pluto both being dogs does.
Actually, maybe you could combine those ideas, have a pokemon led pokemon team that also happens to consist of one human. Wouldn't that be fascinating?
I've been following this comic for a while, but I just had to comment on this and The Real Sonichu as soon as I signed up. For one thing I can't believe you've got me invested in Rosechu of all characters, not only that but you gave Kel such a likable personality that I don't want to see Rosechu leave her now. ROSECHU, DON'T GO WITH SONICHU! YOU CAN STAY WITH KEL AND HAVE FUNNY ADVENTURES! NOOOOOOOOO! TRICKIE WHY HAVE YOU DONE THIS TO MEEEEEEEEE?
It's because I love toying with people's hearts! Mwahaha!
Welcome to the forums by the way! Always nice to have yet another joining the madness.
Overdramatics aside, I know it's been pointed out before, but the contrast between your and _blank_'s Sonichu is amazing, it's like I'm looking into two completely separate universes whenever I check for updates on these comics. Two completely different takes on the exact same character, then again Chris's comic is such a blank slate in the first place that anyone could pretty much do anything with it if they wanted to, but it's still amazing how different interpretations can be.
Actually, that's a good point. The fact that Chris' comic is so malleable that it can be taken in two different directions and still feel internally consistent either speaks to the blandness of Chris' originals or to its unintended brilliance... or maybe even both.
Not sure if I have much else to say, other than it'll be interesting to see how Liquid Chris plays into all of this...oh yeah also, it might be a bit too early to ask but is Count Graduon going to be making any appearances in this comic? I can't really remember if he's all that involved with Rosechu but I don't think he is, and I really don't want to have to go back to the original comics to find out. I guess I'm just curious to see what your take on him would be.
He will absolutely be seen in scepter form, but a lot of the focus with be on MLW in those scenes. I am, however, thinking of doing a subplot which would include his semi-corporeal bipedal form, but I haven't decided if it's good enough to include in the story.
"He's totally got a thing for you!"
-Cut to Sonichu with a spoon stuck to his nose paying absolutely ZERO attention to anything that's going on.
That one panel, that ONE panel with Sonichu with a goddamn spoon stuck to his nose injected more character into him then the ENTIRELY of Chris' original comics. You've actually caused me to feel genuinely positively about Sonichu...
...I don't know what my life is anymore...
I'm glad you guys liked the spoon thing. Sorry to hear about your existential crisis, though.
You know, it's funny, I never could get a spoon to balance on my nose. Not as a kid, and definitely not as an adult. I don't know what the trick is, or if my nose is just not shaped right, but it's always bugged me.
I think I've found the ideal music for Trickie's awesomesauce hurricane kicking Rosechu gif:

WARNING: the lyrics contain multiple kicks![]()
Setting a Street Fighter reference to the music of a Killer Instinct game? You're getting dangerously close to crossing the streams there, hun. It was a good listen, though.
God, Sonichu is friggin adorable.
And now you're on board too, Saney? I wonder if I could get away with forming a cult...?
Sorry for posting here less. Love how you made Kel, Rosechu and Sonichu adorable. I'm ready for an alternate timeline of the 2nd episode of Sonichu 0.![]()
Nah, I don't mind people posting less if they don't have anything to say. As much as I love comments, I don't want you guys to feel like you need to make one every time a page is posted. If you like it, just clicking the "Mm, Yeah" is enough.
Anyway, this weeks page is (finally) done! I'm going to try to make sure that next week's page isn't late. I am trying to stockpile extra pages after all, and my recent bouts of listlessness have not been helping anything.
