Fallout series

Well, yeah, but so can you considering Rad-X and RadAway exist as magic anti-radiation chems.
the joke is that both radaway and rad-x makes your piss glow, which means fallout denizens have some lead-lined kidneys.
then there's fallout 76 with them pink crystal shits.

Doesn't Autumn visibly inject himself with something before he gets hit?
Note that it is still unknown what he injected himself with but i am willing to bet at least 2 dollars on the upcoming 76 story expansion touching on this.
I guess that's made obvious by Fawke's quote in Broken Steel talking about how you changed his destiny, so it's only fair he change yours in return. Even if I still think it's stupid that the purifier is now conveniently irradiated to kill whoever turns it on because plot.
I think they wanted to capture some of the magic with oblivion's ending where you saw Sean Bean sacrifice himself to save the world and you being allowed to keep playing was because of his sacrifice, you sacrifice yourself and everyone else gets to live another day and you die hero of the wasteland but bethesda forgot that not being allowed to keep playing the video game you bought kinda blows. Cool idea, setup somewhat well, fell flat on it's face at the finish line.
(Yet somehow Liam Neeson causing an overload or whatever earlier to kill him and Autumn didn't damage anything but the battle with the Enclave did apparently?)
Always assumed it was some kind of cleaning of the filters or resetting the core flooding that room with rads which if planned ahead of time would have people in radiation suits or just no one at all.
Also on the subject of endings, admittedly being unable to keep exploring the Mojave after the ending was one thing that really disappointed me with New Vegas as it did many other people.
They really should have tacked it onto one of the dlcs, idk how strained or the amount of resources at hand for the dlcs but based on the beta builds and the stuff recreated from them it had to not be that far off from being finished if they kept working on it through them

Compilation of Chris Avellone's Greatest Hits from his 460 posts on rpgcodex (thanks DDoSers, I wouldn't get off my ass to sift through them all if not for farms being down!)
Interesting that Chris pretty much admits that the only reason there is so few guns at the start of Fallout 2 was because nobody used the Spear in Fallout 1. They could have just made an end game Spear variant like we've seen with Super Sledge and Cattle Prod or Ripper, Fallout Nevada and Sonora did this. Turning your tribe into a bunch of spear chuckers makes no sense when guns are so plentiful, there should have been pipe guns at the very least(one exists in base Fallout 2 but it's found on Lenny so you will never, ever use it, the other is the shitty pipe rifle from Klamath). That intel system from Van Buren sounds very interesting, a great idea for a game like this. Just makes me want to play Van Buren that much more.
Dude would have embarrassed No Mutants Allowed.
I don't see how, posts look alright to me. Doubtful anyone even here knows anything about NMA to any extent considering how many embarrassing tourists there are in this thread.
That response alone shows you've never played Doom 3. Stick to your "Ball & Gun" games.
Is that retard humiliating himself now by showing he knows nothing about yet another franchise? Case and point from above.

This is nothing new BTW, Todd LOVES reddit, and it shows in his games.

I wonder if certain shit to going to be censored or if certain characters will be unkillable in the New Vegas Remaster now.
100%, game is going to be made idiot proof for literal retards(so b*thesda and TV show fanboys) and censored to high heaven. It's going to be every stereotype people joked about the F4NV troon filled team and more.

His quote isn't approving of the decision. In fact he calls the player being forced to use the spear "the only advantage".
I think the only advantage to giving guns so late in the Den in Fallout 2 was it actually made you use the spear for once, something I doubt anyone did except enemies in Fallout 1 (and it helps reinforce your tribal status).
It comes across as "Yeah, while it did make you more of a tribal, it uh... probably wasn't a good idea overall."

Even in your wildest dreams fallout 4 was a worse old world blues. Bethesda has never understood Fallout and never will. Now is the tv show they didnt mAkee and the games microsoft forced them to make. This ip deserved better

It wasn't, I can tell you that right now because I modded in guns into Temple of Trials years ago. A crappy energy pistol and a zip gun, as well as Molotovs for Throwing characters, the early game is so much better with a variety of choices. Very little ammunition was added, so player has to choose carefully when they will use those powerful weapons, completely changes the first hour or two of the game. Ironic, how what could possibly be the most open ended game in the franchise, with so many viable builds, how so many of them just start with the player either punching/stabbing things or running away from them until they find a decent gun, even Bethesda got the early game combat right.

What in the fuck are you talking about? How is Fallout 4 in any way like the OWB DLC? Oh right, you don't know what you're talking about because you're a porn addicted 87 IQ troglodyte. Sounds like the TV show is right up your alley.

Hey look everyone, is our favorite sped!!!

Nuka World is what Bethesda think Fallout is all about. Each game is a theme ride.
Ironically enough, this DLC actually played to Fallout 4's strengths since each park is a nice, short stand alone adventure and a decent dungeon. Better than raiding the same generic raider outpost for next to no reward like in the base game. Even the settlement mechanic was improved, shame that being evil was relegated to a paid expansion.

i got that recommended too, i saw the whole morally impossible and just dismissed it, every single take on the tenpenny towers have been retarded noise, the devs clearly wanted you to help the ghouls because of the karma and three dog announcement.

the comments are gold though:

I love Tenpenny Tower is just unintentionally the dangers of suicidal empathy. Well in fact most of the muties are assholes and murderers so suffer not the mutant.

you guys think the new obsidian game is gonna be a direct sequel to NV? or something set in another city?
I'd hope its in a part of the country we've never seen before like say Texas, Orleans, the Midwest.

The realist in me says it'll be the most coattail ridding game. NV, or the whole west coast for that matter, doesn't need a sequel in any way shape or form.

That's exactly what's going to happen. Expect FNVR to be another one of Bethesda's gay-ass life simulators with essential NPC's, cut content, post-ending gameplay and fugly ass weapons, completely missing the point entirely of what made FNV intentionally - and unintentionally - great.
