I feel like playing Devil's advocate here a little bit and copping to also still using NVAC. I don't know why, but won't launch without it. I'm sure the Viva New Vegas guy would yell at me for how unoptimized and outdated it runs under the hood, but I enjoy everything I cultivated over the past 15 years and the end result still runs well for me at a consistent 60 fps.

Difference is I can express that sentiment amicably.

Sometimes even those outdated mods can make a difference.

I'm still using OneTweak, and that's very deprecated nowadays.

There is little in the way of middle ground between those who modded the game for well over a decade and the retards who just blindly download whatever the "experts" tell them to or just download entire modpacks wholesale without knowing what individual modules do. Rarely do you ever see just normal players who know a little bit about modding but not too much these days, it's always one or the other, the expert or the tourist. Considering the posts in this thread, I know where most of this thread lies, and why there is blind, uneducated asshurt aimed at NVAC, as per usual(the asshurt, I mean).

Looking at the mod description, it looks like a decent, lightweight utility and I see no reason why you wouldn't run it since I don't see any compatibility errors. Of course, since it's a decade old, the cattle will cry that it's "bad" without giving any further reasons, and instead suggest some bloated piece of shit that came out more recently and is probably plagued with compatibility errors and redundant scripts that slow down the game.
