Crazy how even the worst lines of dialogue in Fallout 2 are better than Emil at his best. But hey, Bethesda players are genuine retards, so they can't tell, I guess Emil was right when he said his players would rather rip pages out of the book than care about anything he writes.

Do you not have a family, or a job, or a hobby, or anything outside discussing Fallout on the internet? And I'm being sincere, this isn't a bit, this isn't me coming at you. I'm genuinely curious and possibly concerned. If your life is just arguing about a dying franchise whose fanbase is split into two or three parts at least, what kind of life is that?
Truly, does this make you happy? At all? Even when people agree with you and take your side you correct them, often times harshly, over what oftentimes boils down to nothing in the grand scheme of things.
I just don't get it man

This reminds me, what is the status of Israel in Fallout universe? I know all of the Middle East (and half of Western Europe) got glassed during the Resource Wars (as in, those countries already were destroyed if not collapsed into wasteland anarchy before the Great War) but did that mean Israel got destroyed as well or they still survived cuz muh Iron Dome tech (if they even still made it)?

The thing is that pre-war Fallout is supposed to be culturally 1950s (aside from China taking up primarcy as the main Red Threat instead of USSR) and since in the IRL 1950s, Israel was still a relatively poor country ran by a quasi-socialist government (Mapai dominated during that era) and most countries in the West were still able to kind of tell Israel to 'fuck off' compared to now so I don't even know if pre-war Fallout Israel would even have the capacity to survive the Resource Wars especially when America became so resource starved they invaded Canada just to get their trees although that probably means America invaded Canada for their trees so they can print more money in order to donate to Israel but y'know Great War happened.

It would be pretty funny tho if Israel was canonically destroyed before the end of the world even happened in the Fallout universe.

Also speaking of Jews in Fallout, that one raider woman in 76 is a Jew. She literally say Chutzpah in a sentence!

Tel Aviv got nuked per the Fallout Bible which completely destroyed the city so the state was probably destroyed before the Great War.

Correct, most of Middle East got nuked by Europeans, Israel included. With the oil reserves destroyed, what little resources remained were fought over by squabbling, third world tier broken European nation states in various little skirmishes, Fallout London has good lore surrounding that whole debacle.
To add to that, in this universe Israel never had a hold on the US like it did in our timeline. You can tell because the country was actually patriotic and fought for it's own self interests, sure the Enclave and Vault Tec might be comically evil but at least you can be sure there aren't any little hats pulling the strings from behind the scenes. Very fresh perspective, and it makes the patriotic elements actually make sense since the country stood for something other than the billions we send overseas every year. If relationship with Israel was anything but a footnote in the bible and was like our relationship with Israel today, what little resources America had in it's Oil Rig boom would be send there directly and we would send soldiers to fight Europeans instead of Chinese too to defend the chosen people.
