Now i'll be posting the stated reference so it won't ever be forgotten if y'all don't mind...

"Also, I still desperately need to replace my melted Grand Emporium, Palace Theater, Vampyre Castle, and TWO Spongebob's Pineapple House halves from the Party set to rebuild the full-constructed (MOC) house that horribly got melted in the fire as well."

I'm disturbed... This is a 32 year old man who doesn't have a job and still lives with his mom. Yet, he puts Legos as the priority of his life.

Random access reactions to Christian's FB post:
-Drawing tits on a Turtles minifig = "customing" a Venus de Milo.

:story:

-Christian's Lego playsets melted in the fire and he "desperately needs" to replace them.

:story::story::story::story:

So, he's "half and half on plain builder and collector"

"Half and half" is actually a minor CWCism.

The popular interpretation is that it refers to mixed ancestry, but I always figured it referred to a transsexual. So when Christian says the woman he's banging in that picture is half-and-half, he really means that he's having sex with a MtF transsexual. I think Christian's trying to tell us something here again, as in he's a half-and-half (read: transsexual) builder and collector.

Oddly, his premise isn't too absurd. I too keep a wish list to keep track of stuff I've found but can't afford to purchase, and it does occasionally function to tell my family what I'd like for Christmas or a birthday.

The difference being, people seek out my list if they need it, I don't flaunt it immediately after asking for food, shelter, and, um... iTunes cards.

I agree. I'm not surprised, but I agree.

Those should've been the first ones he re-bought after the fire with the insurance money or :tugboat:. And as long as the :tugboat: keeps coming in, he could just wait. Because he sure ain't going to get it from other people.

Besides, why is it that Chris expects stuff from people that aren't :anna: or her asspat crew, and when the "trolls" actually do send him stuff (post-fire) he wishes death on them? An ungrateful turd, that's who!

That scene is classic. :lol:I really did not know Chris liked Sponge Bob enough to buy Lego sets related to the series. In some ways I feel bad for Chris that most of his Lego's got destroyed but that does not mean he deserves $1000+ of Lego sets for free. I wish he would post pictures of the fire damage to the Lego's. I bet at least some of the pieces were salvageable.

I still don't think it was an awful idea to help Chris out in the immediate aftermath. The issue is of course that after a while, it gets old and you can't forever mooch off people with some tragedy that happened a while ago. Likewise, people generally don't give people free stuff unless there's 1) some special occasion, 2) a certain personal disaster (and then it's usually stuff to help you recover, utilitarian items mostly) or 3) ulterior motive (sex, bribery, etc).

You know, if Chris was like "You know, I'm having some hard times, I'm still having to replace things from the fire, I could use some help" I could have at least a tiny bit of sympathy. But he's just like "If you want to give me free stuff, send it to this address" and asks for things like LEGOs.

I've collected the entire set if Simpsons minifigures, as well as the house.
Isn't the Simpson's house lego set $300.⁰⁰ or something like that? I sort of thought Chris was asking for insanely expensive lego sets because if he's going to beg he might as well beg big. A 32 year old man who can afford to piss away that kind of raha on a toy is not poor and not deserving of charity. But then I'm stating the obvious.

Chris has clarified why he made the wish list, but has anyone yet asked Chris why he thinks people should waste their own hard earned cash on him in the first place?
