I think because he doesn't plan these things. He just eventually hits a point where he feels he's so entitled to it and something has to be done. His birthday was a month after the fire and he was probably still adjusting to all the new stuff happening. He was getting stimulated by all that activity so he was actually busy (By Chris standards). Now he's hitting the wall. He's gone too long without getting as much as he's used to. He sees things he likes. He wants them. They should be his. If Barb is taking more of his money (for legit reasons or not) he's going to get antsier. This is just a newer version of stealing money from his parents or taking out credit cards. This begging shit won't work so it will be interesting to see if that means he'll take another jab at theft when he just can't take it anymore.
 
My brother used to work at a store that had those blind bags and gave me a couple as a random gift. One of the figures I got from it happens to be one on Chris' wishlist..
I'm gonna go put her on a shelf to display for everyone to see. Hue hue hue.

If his situation doesn't change then I personally think he'll try to steal again. If he somehow manages to be successful then of course he'll try again and he'll get caught. Fuck if I know how that'd turn out but it'd be interesting to see even if he walks out of it with a slap on the wrist.

Eh, Chris is a total shitheel, of course. But based on past shitty-person-rates, Chris was heading downhill at a fairly predictable rate. I do add a bit of room for error, but... even so, fatty got shittier in an unexpected way.

I guess I gotta give up on Chris, that he could ever a decent person. Or not even being a decent person, just completely that he could ever be a tolerable person. It's like he's dedicated to saying, "fuck the world, I'm taking everyone else with me!"

If anyone still actually cares, the Mr. Gold fig is plated 14k gold (like those Pokemon cards from BK in the early 2000s), with a tiny diamond on his staff.
Also think of it as a golden ticket to get into some Lego factory exclusive party.
It's also being sold for about 750 dollars.
So if you find it, I don't recommend giving it to Chris.

Sadly the tugboat is unsinkable. Law states that it cannot be garnished or restrict by debtors sadly.

So Fatty can run up as much as they will allow him and other then fucking over his credit rating nothing else will happen to him. Not like he'd ever get a real loan anyway.
