Notice how rarely those changelogs talk about large, sweeping changes and mostly just consist of a giant laundry list of some hyper specific weirdness with hyper specific fixes instead? That's his game systems breaking down and going into undefined behavior, unless he's had a massive change of heart and did a stealth rewrite recently, it's all a giant stateless mess with separate handcrafted code paths for all interactions that is unable to handle undefined edge cases with any grace whatsoever and every time those issues crop up, it's another branch off the absolute mess that is the Update() tree.

Yansim's gameplay elemnets that are related to eliminating rivals are repetitive and boring as shit. You can finish the 80s mode in a little over an hour by befriending the rivals and the riveting "gameplay" includes:
1. Going through your rival's bookbag and reading their diary.
2. Doing a shitty little task for your rival.
3. Offering help to your rival and stealing suitcases from the EVIL PHOTOGRAPHER in a zombie mental asylum.

It's the same for every fucking rival from the beginning to end and it takes like 15m. Alex likes to compare YS to Hitman but there is literally no comparing those two lol

Okay, TL;DR.

• In 2020 some 14-yo feels sorry for Alex and messages him words of encouragement. They start talking to the point that person "develops feelings for him"(ew) and Alex suggests they, of fucking course, switch to Discord
• In 2021 Alex makes this person "do the tasks for him" and later promotes her to a moderator. Worth mentioning that Alex asked if her was 18 and when they told "i am not an adult", still made her a mod
• In 2022 tasks become so overwhelming that began affecting her education, however, Alex began lovebombing her and their conversation got more personal
• "After 2022, he became more affectionate with me. the things that stood out to me was
  him saying that he was willing to have me travel to him once i'm 18, as I would
  always tell him that once I'm 18" - if that's not a definition of grooming, then I don't know what is.
• things turn sour, since the OP becomes jealous and vents about personal stuff to Alex more and more
• Alex sends her webcam videos, nothing NSFW, just some words of encouragement
• It all progresses until Alex tells her that she makes him feel like something towards "a significant other"
• OP starts avoiding him because "he was flirting with his friends too much" which to me sounds like usual coomer routine on his server. In the end he makes a private VC with her.

• What's interesting though is that she asked him to pay her for all her work in May 2024 and he agreed. That's something new since Alex refused to pay most of volunteers when he was getting 5k a month from Patreon alone, but he is willing to pay for something this minor now? Maybe he was afraid she would talk even though there was nothing NSFW between them, but I don't know.
