Him delaying the game due to "harassment" reminded me of the game Hatred. A super violent shooter made by outspoken anti SJW devs that got completely panned by critics before and after release. It even got pulled from Steam initially.
Had they been as thin skinned as YanDev they'd never have bothered finishing the game. Interestingly enough, GabeN himself gave an apology and the game has 9/10 rating on steam. YanDev should just make the game that tickles his tisms the most instead of fishing for clout.

I'm probably going to powerlevel a bit, but apparantly, I'm in a server with him that's not the official server, but rather the server for SpriteClub, a virtual gambling site where you bet on MUGEN characters with fake money. He went on there because he wanted to have something like SaltyBet but without all of their salt (pun intended).

I like how in the second screenshot, it's some dude not even interested in the drama but Yandev basically just posts a copypasta about how innocent he is cuz them damn gremlins.
Also, who do you think he stole that art from now? Why did he assign a volunteer to make sprite art for mugen if he doesn't even have a deal with them, thats just a complete and utter waste of his time and the volunteers time. But then again, if there's anything Yandev knows how to do its waste time.

From what he said, he commissioned an artist to make him that character sprite, though they probably bailed out when they had the chance as all it is just the idle stance.

Not gonna reply/quote again, but I just looked over the sprite again and I can't believe I failed to notice the crotch outline on the skirt. It looks like the skirt is fucking transparent, or she stuffed her skirt in between her thighs/bikini area.

The sprite of Yanchan reminds me an awful lot of those shitty DeviantArt sprite bases people would use to make their original characters donut steel real. The weird crotch outline/shadows is probably the biggest offender as skirts dont work that way ???

). Is there anything about how he shuts down modders and speedrunners in the FAQ yet? For someone who has supposedly played games since he was a zygote, he sure doesn't know how to foster a good community around a video game.

Alex's talent for insane metaphor is truly astounding, implying that an individual rival is as important to YS as a chair is to a skyscraper. Or that building 1 chair in half a year is not in fact slow as balls.

Braid, Cave Story, Spelunky, Papers Please, Iconoclasts, Undertale. All made mostly or entirely by one person(I think the only thing Toby Fox didn't do was like some of the artwork). If you could make a game on your own Alex, you would have by now. All the excuses and akshualys in the world can't hide the fact that you just can't do it.

It's definitely not his work. He's said himself early in development that he can't draw for shit. He doesn't even post the shit online, which means you know it's bad enough that even he refuses to share it.
Thats why hes so desperate for volunteers. Instead of trying to learn the rudimentary aspects of the skills he needs to make a good demo in a reasonable amount of time before making a kickstarter, he just hauls all the work off to unpaid volunteers while he watches hentai and cooms

Why's he doing this under his Yandev handle though? I mean, I know the reason why, his immense fucking ego, but if he gets such shit, just make a private handle. Anyone running a business with digital presence should already know to have accounts for their business, and accounts for themselves, and never the two shall meet. If salty bet was questioning the autism in the room, just roll a new handle and shut up, and nobody will find out.
