Not trying to put the blame on anyone, and I'm not saying Potentially criminal was like this. but there is a difference between being wrong after a reasonable assessment that makes it clear that they can still lose, or if you were mostly right about the factual analysis but the judge just came to a different conclusion or wasn't convinced.
It's a bit different when tons of posters were adamant that this will be impossible for denims to even really defend, that there is ko way she could win, and that Ethan was extremely shrewd and laid out a perfect trap. Just to then have him lose basically in the worst possible way, with a MJOP. In which the judge said that even while taking everything from the complaint at face value, even with the best possible interpretation of ethan's complaint, no
reasonable judge or jury could ever side with Ethan lol. The "as a matter of law" is really what hurts credibility.
I guess it's just a good reminder that biais can completely cloud judgment. Your slam dunk copyright lawsuit against *denims*, sire.
