I really like this home-made "energy drink", but it's too harmful to the heart and kidneys to drink it often:
1) Get the cheapest available black tea in leaves;
2) Boil 500ml of milk;
3) Add 12 (yes, 12) tablespoons of tea leaves to the milk, stir for a minute or two;
4) Slow boil the concoction for 15-20 mins with the lid on (watch out for milk foaming)
5) Decant the thing, squeeze more out of leaves;
6) Add sugar/honey/butter/whatever;
7) DRINK! (in small servings)
This recipe is based on so-called "chifir", a tea brewed by prisoners. The key difference is milk. Milk proteins bind tea alkaloids, reducing nausea (a regular human can throw up after drinking regular water-based chifir) and making other side effects (tachycardia and sweating) milder.
