It's an honestly baffling and ultimately pointless bit of posturing, because honestly who gives a shit once the shiny new finish has worn off any tumblr spectacle

but on the other hand it makes it a wee bit funnier when people say it then degenerate into the "please leave me alone!!" stage so there's that, at least.
