Apparently i don't have a ton of pics of her on this phone but this is my old cat, she's since passed on but she was a real doll. She was about 14 years old when i took this.

Absolutely adorable! I have an incredible weakness for scots. You want to see a 6'1", 195 lb guy turn into a totally gushing retard that talks to your cat like he's a 2 year old, introduce me to a scot. It's so embarrassing, but I just can't help myself.

We have comparable build but I will spend an hour cuddling with this idiot.

Kitty has no idea which way is up.
He tried to climb his scratching tree, it did not work out.

Make sure you love and hug your cats every day. We lost our young lady Oliver overnight, died in her sleep. She was only two, might've been a congenital defect we didn't know about from what we've Googled about young cats dying. I worry about Charlie, he's clearly confused about where she's at.

You were a good girl and grew up so nicely, sorry our time together was so short.

We're discussing on getting Charlie looked at since the two were the only black kittens in the litter. He's our zoomy active boy, too, thought maybe Oliver's mellow nature was just her personality...

I found a four-week old stray kitten on the side of the road, on Friday. She is fine for now, but there appears to be something wrong with her front left leg as it is oddly limp and she will not walk on it. It turned out that most of the places in town were only running a skeleton crew on the weekends. Some places like Banfield had Sunday hours, but even they did not have a lot of staff that can do a physical on a four-week old kitten. I am going to my regular veterinarian tomorrow as the soonest they could see her was Tuesday morning.

The main issue is keeping my current cat away from her as he can be very rough and he is ten pounds heavier and five times her size. She is a tortoiseshell. I am calling her Magenta for now; after both the color (the signature color of the 1980's. I'm an '80s kid) and the character from Rocky Horror Picture Show.

She can apparently move that bad leg of hers where it was just hanging alarming limply when I first found her so that is a good sign. The bad news is that the bicep and deltoid muscles have swollen even more. I hope that the leg can be fixed as having to amputate the leg of a four-week old kitten is not a pleasant thought. I do hear some minor popping sound in the area, so it could be broken or just dislocated at the glenohumeral joint. I think it is broken as I do feel quite a bit of pliability in the humeral region. Luckily, the joints still seem to be intact.

I think I am going to keep her if all goes well at the veterinarian, tomorrow. I am amazed at how friendly she is instead of being terrified.

I am keeping the cat. She has a sliding humeral fracture. Unfortunately, it cannot be casted because of the location and type, but it can be fixed by pinning. There should be no lasting disability. She is going into surgery this afternoon, and will need overnight observation.

Judging by the type of fracture and lack of external injury, the veterinarian also thinks that she was probably thrown out of a car window.

I rescued a kitten that had the same type of injury from the same circumstance. He came out of it just fine, all 4 legs work no problem.

Thank you for doing this. You are a good person.

The surgery went well, so I am pleased. It was pricey, though. She will be discharged tomorrow.

I am just glad her leg did not have to be amputated.
