My families cat had to be put down today. She had been eating very little, losing weight and was only awake for 2-4 hours throughout the day. She made it to the ripe old age of 20 and had a very good life of getting fat, whining and sleeping. She'll be my parents last pet and I don't envy them having to get rid of her stuff from the house. She was very sweet.

I feel for you. Cats are too good for this world.

Our ever loving, sometimes judging, little killing machines are really perfect companions. I lost my best friend not too long ago and found out there is a charity that could have paid the bills to save him. I found out because my orange flavored boy got sick. He's fine now other than not getting the shared braincell.

So Magenta tested negative for everything this morning as they did the blood test when they removed her sutures today. Now I have no reason to give her up.
 
Friend of my brought back a fluffy black kitten for me from South Korea as a late birthday present. She's around two months old. Named her Bagha Chokeu, or Mint Choco (Mint Chocolate). She has a white undercoat so when you pet her it almost appears silver. Her current favourite place to play is under my sim rig. Two of the cat's here hide from her because she's too hyper, Creamsicle will run in front of her then run off. Vetr will watch from a distance, she doesn't know if she should play with the kitten or not. She's not as aggressive as Creamsicle was, but she's very hyper, Malan'tai doesn't care and just lays on my desk, he's too old for that shit. Getting her luckily doesn't cut into the hard cat food as there's always some left over at the end of every month as Malan'tai get's his senior cat food. I will have to budget in more wet food though. I'll have to see if I need another litter box, though I doubt it. There's already three plus the ones Choco and Latte have.

She still has a fever coat that I've taken photos of that I've posted elsewhere on the internet so she's quite noticeable as being my cat. Not sure if she'll ever lose it as the last cat I had with a fever coat lost it by the time she turned 6 weeks.

That being said, I cannot use my sim rig now without having my toes attacked. They're not moving, I don't think I'm allowed to have them. Since the rig is black and she can hide anywhere on it as the rug and the seats are black too, I have to assume she's there somewhere waiting. Last night while I was flying around in Star Citizen I had the lights off and I saw her orange eyes peering at me from beyond the darkness. Creamsicle has the decency to give a warning before she tries to kill me as you can hear her stomping towards you. Nah, Mint just plots. At least she doesn't nom on the cords.

I've heard it can happen with dogs too but never seen it myself. I'm a cat person myself.

That being said. Found two fluffs last night on the property

There's a third one I caught a glimpse of today, a white tortie. They're all about nine months old. I've set water and food for them all. Payday I'm taking them in to the vet to get them checked out. Converted the rabbit home for them. Since we legally can't have a lot of indoor cats they can stay outside on the property. Later I'll get a shed and convert that for them and give them the chicken roost heater since we can't have chickens now.

The kittens are healthy. They stayed in the guest bedroom last night and will be in there for a few more days. They're not chipped but they were litter trained. They have their vaccines and are spade/ neutered now. Just waiting on blood tests to see if there's any contagious diseases before I let them roam about but there doesn't seem to be any issues. Their government names are now Dritan, the callico, Grewa Socken the grey cat with socks, Mott, the black cat, and das Orange, the orange cat. If they have no diseases I'll get a cat door for them. The ones that will only open for certain chips. That way I can use them as mousers for my garden and greenhouses.
