Theres legislative ways to address many of the immigration problems we have that arent particularly polarizing or exciting, which is how politics should be.

We saw it in 2024: The progressive/activist wing will go all in on #FreePalestine, even though that means things like October 7th being justified if not celebrated by these people, and the right can gain momentum by just saying “terrorists killing families and taking hostages, even small children, is bad”. IMO, the subversion of the democratic process was a subset of the overall issue which was "they're not listening to the average guy on the street; they're going for whoever is funding/lobbying them, and using the idpol groups like BLM or troons or whatever as useful idiots/human shield."
The tranny shit wasn't yet a problem in 2016 (it was upcoming, but at that time, BLM and feminism were 'the big issue' ) because it didn't become big till about 2019-2020 or so.
