💼 Careercow Donald J Trump - 45th/47th President of the USA, convicted felon, Epstein bro, Putin/Netanyahu simp, serial liar, sore loser, cheat and the Chris-Chan of Presidents. Lost a war to Iran and algae. THIS IS NOT USPG2.

comparing 2024 to a primary season in 2028 seems a bit absurd. people didn't really have many choices between donald and kamala.

the different candidates mean we'll be able to see how many people really prefer the pro-israel pick to the freepalestine one. our best example might be the NYC primary, where the one guy that didn't suck off israel ended up getting the nomination and winning in a landslide both in the primary and election. i could easily see that scenario happen again in the dnc primary. 4 old suits who's views are too similar split the vote and a young minority wins.

another thing to point out is that by the numbers i think its about 3/4ths of democrats don't support israel, so trying to run as a Webb style moderate will be a bad idea. the '28 election will be ripe for extremists, some status quo person going "israel are our greatest allies, and epstein did nothing wrong" will be vaporized.
It's going to be an extreme bloodbath in both parties really.

Trump won the 2024 nomination in part because of who he is and made the smart choice to not participate in any of the debates which fucked over any would be contendors. No other political candidate really gets that luxury aside from moderately popular presidents. So many republicans will fight to be Trump's successor.

The Dem Primary is going to be a bloodbath in the same way the NYC Mayor primary could be. It will double as especially bad for Gavin and Kamala as both of them would do poorly against presumably competent debators, Gavin is extra fucked because the Gavin Newsom loved by the public is the shit talking asshole on twitter, when that account is not even run by him so it's some zoomer who has better political instincts than the guy trying to be buddies with Ben Shapiro.

I am not looking forward to any ticket with Newscum on it. If my state is pretty much predetermined I may just vote for an open commie or even a Nazi, or just any random freak candidate, rather than vote for that piece of shit. Or maybe even J.D. Vance if he presents a remotely sane platform.

I'd say the "Israel or Palestine" question, or hell, even the "Israel support, yes or no" question in general is secondary. Part of the reason Mamdani won is the guy ACTUALLY put forth a message of "here's how I'll change things so you can buy a home, can afford groceries, can travel without worry, etc.". Whether he actually meant it or could even get them done is a different matter; but he pushed a message that people wanted to hear.
Meanwhile, Cuomo kept on going "Israel is our greatest ally", with no actual messaging on making things like rent or gas or groceries cheaper. And I don't care how pro-Israel you are, short of being either a jew who's about to get on a plane to Tel Aviv or Ben Shapiro, you are gonna be more interested in supporting the guy who is promising to make things better, and that was basically Mamdani.

This was basically shown by the Minneapolis election that voted in Frey over that somali guy, that most people didn't pay attention to because Mamdani vs Cuomo was more interesting. One of the things Frey did right is he didn't fixate on Israel like Cuomo did, but rather argued his opponent's points and talked about making buying a house cheaper. And because of that, he beat the guy, despite being pro-Israel.

When it comes to 2028, short of some giant, sudden action no one could imagine, I think the issue won't so much better upon whether the US will support Israel or Palestine more. The bigger question will be who can serve the people more and improve the economic and socio-cultural stability of the nation; and honestly, if tomorrow, you get Rabbi Shlomo BenGviristein who's a doctor, has a lawyer wife, wears a Star of David on his cap, and has a giant nose come in front of the people and at least make them think that he will focus on economic benefits of the American people first and foremost, he may come out with a decent chance to win.
The thing is, though...in current time, it really doesn't seem like any of the pro-Israel side can actually do that. Even Trump's current shit makes him look like if he had to choose between Israel and America, he might choose Israel 50% of the time.

And from what I’ve heard, he still barely won, and most of his victory was because his opponent was so loathed. Kind of reminds me of Trump honestly, except Zohran was never seen as a “meme pick”.

He barely won because Republicans in NY got caught up into a frenzy over zohran being the next saddam and Stalin. that they all voted for Cuomo. Cuomo even had trump backing during that election.

Our highly respected, and Greatest Ever, president is schizo-posting about forcibly asserting federal control over elections whether Congress passes a law or not.

Very cool! Definitely not something a Democrat president would have had angry mobs of "Don't Tread on Me" conservatives outside the White House for within hours.

He's totally not a wannabe dictator though. MAGAloids in USPG2 said he wasn't!

Trump is delusional and thinks Pam Bondi was "fantastic" at yesterday's hearing regarding Epstein.

I'll just leave this here:

How stupid do you have to be to think the tariffs are going to work.

Am I reading this wrong or is Trump saying he runs on an agenda of Hate and Stupidity? Quite the admission if so.

Trump does run on an agenda of hate and stupidity, which is why MAGAloids worship him and would happily let him rape their children. He is them, which is pure hatred and stupidity and willful ignorance

The Newsom campaign is going to be Bloomburg v2. The more people who see this guy, the less they're gonna like him. Despite being a really boring neoliberal, half of the country is poisoned against him just because he's from California, and the rest will learn what kind of a douchebag he is real fast.

Reminder that Newsom has polled over 60% twice. Once at the start of COVID before we all found out he was a hypocrite, and now because he has the aforementioned zoomer making amusing tweets. I have no idea how the DNC thinks this translates to a winning national strategy.

Edit: Not to mention hes tied into Pelosi's orbit really tightly which in California is great but at a national level is an albatross.

Yeah in another universe Cuomo would not have run against the party’s choice to try to split the vote for Dems, but it helped Reps torpedo Sliwa’s chances.

Cuomo is massively hated in NY, maybe only less hated than Trump, so no idea why anyone thought “Trump endorsed Cuomo will win”.

Does NYC have a massive pedo population? If so they were maybe trying to court that

I look forward to ICE standing guard and “monitoring” voting stations. Miggers might self-deputize and do it themselves as well. This fall is going to get very interesting.
How are they even gonna do that? In Washington we vote by dropping our ballots in the outgoing mail slot. I don't think they have enough agents to post at every mailbox.

Discourage people from voting if they look like someone ICE might harass (not white). Since the country is so polarized, it doesn't take much to shift things one way or the other. I mean, Trump keeps calling 1.5 percentage points a "landslide" victory.

Última edición:
Republicans in many areas have been fighting against mail-by-voting, also using the "voter fraud" claim.
Well... they have a point, a dictator could falsify the votes or the votes might not arrive due to the deficient postal system there.

It's supposed to be efficient, but registering and counting letters would take a long time (plus there are too many letters). If voting is a nightmare in any country due to logistics, voting by mail would be a logistical nightmare.

Mamdani came out looking fantastic and showed how popular his positions were throughout. What was the problem for him with it?

I thought it was incredible that he made regulation one of his major campaign issues.
