💼 Careercow Donald J Trump - 45th/47th President of the USA, convicted felon, Epstein bro, Putin/Netanyahu simp, serial liar, sore loser, cheat and the Chris-Chan of Presidents. Lost a war to Iran and algae. THIS IS NOT USPG2.

Virginia governor race was won by the Democrat.

America First isn't popular in America.

You know, unlimited tax cuts for billionaires, withholding food from American children, going after old people's health care and social security, turning cities into war zones, and $40 billion for a shithole in south america.

Most people who aren’t autistic can viscerally tell who is smart and who isn’t. Trump just isn’t. I don’t begrudge anyone for not being smart but those people aren’t the President of the United States either. His first term, at least the first two years, were filled with Republican technocrats who kept things going in spite of Trump.
He hires people he sees on Fox News. In 2017, those were former Bush functionaries who had spent eight years being "national security contributors" and saying bad things about Barack Obama. They had experience and realistic ideas. By 2025, the universe of people willing to work with Donald Trump had shrunk considerably, and I guess the quality of Fox News had also plummeted.

Glowsisters! She was an operations officer for eight years--probably only six or seven really operating operationally--long enough to become staff but not so long she felt those pension handcuffs go click. She was out there spotting, recruiting, false flagging, maybe honeypotting. They're not supposed to but, you know, it works. At least, it works until the dick is so good you become a penetration.

We started getting help from the original Great Depression because of a Democrat president, yes? My knowledge on that is kind of rusty.
My poor Hoover. This is one of the most misunderstood things of modern times.

So, Hoover was the president when the Depression hit, and because of America's rapid industrialization and WWII boom, there is a perception that Hoover essentially sat on his hands and did nothing, especially when you look at federal action of Hoover versus FDR.

Hoover was a devoutly religious philanthropist and strongly believed in ethical capitalism in small government. When pressed for a federal response to the Great Depression, he stated he did not want wide scale federal programs because it would undermine American federalism and create dependence on the central government. Instead, he advocated for cooperation between local, state, and federal governments as well as charities, labor organizations, businesses, and religious organizations. At the beginning, he was able to strike a deal between labor and businesses to freeze wages and benefits, when business was pushing for wage and hour cuts, he doubled federal public works projects spending, created the Federal Farm Board to manage prices and have farmers coordinate to keep prices high enough to keep them afloat, he created the National Credit Corporation, a voluntary organization for banks to support each other, he created the Reconstruction Finance Corporation to provide low interest loans to railroads, businesses, and farmers, and raised the top tier of income tax from 25% to 63% to help support public programs without ballooning the debt.

The greatest irony, though, is that one of the key points FDR (Governor of New York at the time) attacked Hoover on was Hoover's seemingly lack of federal response, and touted his own robust and effective response to the Depression in New York. The reason this is deeply ironic is because Hoover literally praised FDR and the New York relief model as an excellent example of how state and local led cooperation with federal coordination could ease American suffering. He pointed to FDR as the role model for governors who wanted to help their people.

Anyway, did Hoover do enough? Maybe, maybe not, the Smoot-Hawley Tariff Act was a massive misstep and hurt the American economy, and interest rates weren't coordinated and slashed fast enough, but overall Hoover is a very tragic figure in my opinion. He loved his country and any failings were not from malice. He genuinely did everything he thought he could to help America recover, including donating significant portions of his own family wealth to charity efforts.

I wonder what theme he is going to pick for the very angry post he is typing up right now. I think the main course will be communist with some fraud accusations maybe a bit of weird love for Cuomo depends how much he feels like back stabbing his own parties candidates today.

He's probably going to have Stephen Miller type it up because Trump's brain is too mush to come up with anything coherent

...so, the shutdown is the fault of Republicans, and is why they lost?
Just making sure I understand.
Schroedinger's shutdown.

Republicans got their asses kicked because of the shutdown and Trump wasn't on the ballot, but at the same time everyone loves Trump and the shutdown is the Democrat's fault

You're okay with the government running a massive pyramid scheme to funnel your tax money into the pockets of corporations who produce low quality, low-nutrient foods for the sole purpose of appealing to poor people who have an inflated budget for luxury goods - because it made you feel less poor growing up?

No shit. whoa. anyways i hope they get rid of it permanently for this exact reason. It's supposed to be nutritional assistance not emotional support

As long as they're not committing fraud by selling it for drugs or cigarettes and alcohol, who gives a fuck?

Earle-Sears is not a MAGA candidate. Her losing is not a major repudiation of MAGA. They’re all going to cope and say she never had a chance because she was a DEI RINO NIGGER FOID LOSER. Trump knew this and didn’t even talk about her, in part because he’s a piece of shit and in part because he knows appearing to only back winners is integral to his brand. Spanberger is a soccer mom who also happens to work as a glowie in the beltway. Virginia was hit hard by DOGE and is a blue state when it’s not gerrymandered so of course she was going to win.

The much bigger repudiations of MAGA are Ciatterelli losing and Mamdani winning. Ciatterelli is as MAGA as it gets and he was running in a purple state in Trump’s backyard. He lost to Sherrill, another glowie woman.

You’d think Mamdani winning would make Trump have another well-deserved stroke. A (champagne) socialist communist now runs Trump’s hometown. But it seems like he’s got some kind of plan to use Mamdani as an excuse to do some bullshit. Cuomo insinuated that if Mamdani won, Trump would take control of NYC. I don’t think it will actually work that way. Trump can only win when going against Republicans or very unpopular Democrats. He falls apart against popular Democrats. Of course he’s not running against Mamdani in an election but Mamdani’s popularity will be important for resisting the hostile takeover that Trump may attempt. Could you imagine Bloomberg or Cuomo trying to stand up to Donny the Diddler? They were probably all at Epstein’s mansion together!

"Everything is the Dems fault and not mine." - Trump and every narcissistic person.

By the way, I love how people come into this thread to insult instead of just admitting they're the ones who are offended.

And when I say "I love" I actually mean I think it's sad that they're that much lacking in self awareness.

If you come in here to insult instead of just disagreeing, you've already lost.
