I think the peak irony was someone asking how the Trumptards felt about it on one of their echo chamber Subreddits. They all insisted he was just trolling.

Two reasons I snorted in laughter seeing the MAGA cultists say that.

First it was on his own website TRUTH Social. These retards can't take a joke even if it was shoved up their ass by Drumph himself so the idea he was trolling his own people with shit they say wasn't true on TRUTH Social is laughable for all the wrong reasons.

Second was the Subreddit had a rule about no trolling. I just about had a stroke over the irony of not allowing what they laud their grifter daddy for allegedly doing when they see him as peak God-Emperor of Mankind.

I dunno maybe I was making too many connections between irrelevant shit there but I had a good laugh from thinking about it so eh worth sharing here for anyone who'd get a chuckle from it too. We go to the circus to laugh at the clowns after all.

Trump would block that by having the legislation written so that only an incumbent president can run for a third term. Since he and Stephen Miller have a stranglehold on all three branches of government, he'd get away with it. Thankfully, the chances of him living out his second term are extremely slim.

Have you been keeping an eye on Texas? Governor Hot Wheels has called a special session specifically for gerrymandering Texas to freeze even more Democrats out. Fun fact: Texas has more registered Democrats than registered Republicans. The Democrats just don't turn out as much on top of Republican controlled gerrymandering.

Anyway, the Texas Democrats said fuck this and left the state so they couldn't get quorum. Our attorney General is suing them, sorry issued warrants for their arrest, he's suing Beto for allegedly funding this "appalling state of behavior," the governor has called out the Texas national guard or maybe the rangers to hunt them down, talks about getting the feds involved, and on and on.

Because how dare the Democrats not go quietly into that dark night? How dare they actually do their job to represent us? Gerrymandering is legal, so it's technically not cheating, but redistricing in the middle of the decade like this is just because they have their marching orders to keep him in power because they all know he's going to get crushed in the midterms. All of the attorney General and other nonsense is just theater to play to the cult and the cult around here eats it up.

That's how I would challenge it, but IANAL. I don't think it will be successful at scotus, but I guarantee you he'll try it unless he's dead.

I can't imagine someone being willing to sell their soul for money and power...but I guess that's ONE reason I'm not a millionaire.
 
Rubio rode in the wave of teabaggers in 2010. Then he became one of the leaders of the Gang of Eight for amnesty in 2013-2014. He then tried to be the establishment favorite candidate when it was clear Jeb! was not going to be the nominee in 2015-2016. I strongly suspect he is going to be the one to fight Vance in the 2028 Republican primaries. I think he’ll be the one to fight MAGA but he’s kind of screwed because Florida is the MAGA Mecca. A lot can happen in the next couple of years but I assume that he’ll be the highest profile cabinet member to turn on Trump but only when it’s politically convenient to do so.
