Looking at the marketing and the theme of the movie it's clear that children or families were not the target audience for this movie. "i'm a woman, hear me roar" cements this flick as being for young adults who see Cruella as a empowered woman
By far the worst and most jarring line in the film. It's said near the start and really feels like they added it just for woke points in the trailer. The film doesn't have much in the way of feminist themes other than in the very old school sense of feminism which is simply that women are capable of things. There's no 'fighting the patriarchy' in a film where the most powerful adversary she faces is female. The discrimination she faces is based on "breeding" and on her acting out. But not based on sex. This film is basically the anti-Harley Quinn movie.
No, one a conformist and one a rebel. Again, nothing about the ending of the movie presents it like Cruella is a villain or that burying the identity she thought she had to be as some sort of tragedy or fall from grace. It's an up beat, triumphant moment and she's still presented as the hero with her merry band of misfits (instead of apathetic minions) who explicitly stated they wouldn't still be following her if she was actually a bad person. Cruella uses villainy as a brand, a style, not an actual statement of moral principles. Her list of 'evil deeds' range from not thanking her friends to considering the murder of the woman who killed her mother despite it never factoring into her plans. She is treated as a sympathetic hero who overcomes the temptation to do morally questionable shit, stands by her loving family and presents herself as edgy because it sounds cool. She's the quirky misunderstood artist that expects the audience to be yelling 'Yas queen!'. She is not treated as the villain by the end, and she is most certainly not treated as the person who will go on to try and murder puppies for their spots.
I totally forgot about that. Loved the cartoon as a child. This is how you do a funny villain.

Apparently the dice are only in a shot or two and iirc the prop was pulled from the set partway through shooting because it looked stupid
