Still plugging away on D2R Ladder. My Echoing Taint Warlock is about to hit 90 and my back up Blizz Sorc just finished Nightmare in the mid 60's. I keep having the same problem as last season where I find a bunch of cool shit for classes I'm not playing so I have a few other new characters I'll switch between when I get bored of TZ farming. I found the Barb helmet that gives you werewolf so I made a new magic find Barb to put that on eventually, then I decided I don't want to wait until lvl 70 so I made a Werewolf Druid because I found some good shapeshifting gear too. I also found some good Assassin gear for the fire/trap one I made this season, but I also started a Bone Necromancer because I haven't played that class yet since I got the game and found a video with a cool build. As for Sunder Charms I still have about the same luck with those, I'll farm tier 5 heralds for hours and get nothing, then randomly when I make a new game a charm drops on the 1st or 2nd tier. I picked up a second Cold charm and a Lightning charm yesterday, still trying to get the magic and physical ones.

I've sometimes thought about getting the newer games, just to see how the story continues, but then I look at D3 and D4 and have no interest in even trying to play them. D3 just looks too much like WoW and I don't know why but it turns me off from trying it, and up until the new expansion it doesn't sound like D4 was worth a shit either. Despite the flaws and frustrations at times, I guess I just see D2 (and the original before it) as the perfect games for the series that I don't see how it can be improved, not just gameplay but for the story as well. In D2 you kill 5 out of the 7 strongest demons in Hell, including all 3 Prime Evils, where can you really go after that? I can only take so much of "ACKTUUALLY they don't really die and they're back again, LOL" before I say fuck off, especially when the newer games just become streamlined, arcade style, kill-everything-in-one-move overpowered characters mixed with non stop cutscenes of various black and brown people lecturing and talking down to you. Also women are smart, men are stupid. And that's not even bringing up the microtransactions and constant ads to buy shit.

No thanks, for me the series ends with 2.
